If you're going to commit to one pair of shorts this summer—even if you spent spring gathering all sorts of styles—let it be Vuori's Kore shorts. Once you try these, they'll be that pair of shorts for you—you know, the ones you wear six days a week, wash on the seventh, and then repeat.

Our editors are long-standing fans of Vuori for the brand's high-performance, high-style athletic gear, and, if I may say so, the Kore shorts are Vuori's pièce de résistance. They're the one-stop style for anywhere and everywhere the season brings you: Wear 'em to the gym and enjoy how breathable they are, wear 'em on a run to appreciate that four-way stretch, wear 'em out in the sun and feel that lightweight, moisture-wicking, anti-odor fabric put to the test.

Here's the thing about the Kore shorts: They have it all. Like really, truly all. Even underwear, technically, because this style includes a breathable boxer-brief liner that allows you to go commando. (But if that isn't your thing, there's also an unlined version you can buy.)

With a classic straight athletic fit and elastic waistband, these bring the heat in terms of comfort, and the performance specs—including quick-drying, moisture-wicking, odor-fighting fabric and four-way stretch, along with an adjustable drawcord and convenient, discreet slash pockets—only enhance them. The standard pair have a 7.5-inch inseam that'll hit just above the knee, but you can always go shorter with a five-inch inseam or longer with a nine-inch inseam.

I know everything I've listed about these shorts already sounds great, but I haven't even gotten to the best part: the price. For all these features, for all their durability, for all the places you're going to wear these shorts (let's face it, they're versatile as hell), they cost only $68. That's a steal if I've ever seen one.

If I were you, I'd be snagging these in a few different colors, from the dark neutral tones to the bolder, summery shades. Wear the charcoal camo Kore shorts to the gym, the yellow Kore shorts to the bar, and the green Kore shorts to the park. Just get used to the fact that, once you try them, you'll be wearing them everywhere. Looks like my next mission is to figure out how to style these with a blazer and button-down for work.
