Pour one for the ladies of Absolutely Fabulous, darlings: They’re making a movie.

While visiting ITV talk show Loose Women on Wednesday, creator and star Jennifer Saunders confirmed that the hit British sitcom will officially be back as a film. This is hardly AbFab‘s first return—after an initial run on the BBC from 1992 to 1995, the show aired a two-part finale event in 1996, was revived from 2001 to 2004, and aired three TV specials between Christmas of 2011 and the London Olympics in the summer of 2012. But don’t think the quality is slipping.

“I think I didn’t do it for a while because I just thought, ‘Oh, wouldn’t it be awful if it was awful?'” said Saunders of the upcoming movie.

The film, which will involve “all the main characters and virtually everyone who’s ever been in the series,” had the cast and crew’s support from the start. Writer Dawn French publicly bet £10,000 that Saunders wouldn’t write a script by the end of the year; the first draft was in French’s hands on New Year’s Eve.

Actress Joanna Lumley (Patsy) also voiced her encouragement, telling Saunders, “Do it before we die!”

As for what the film will be about, Saunders would only say, “There is a plot, and that’s a miracle.”
