Leah Remini’s new Scientology docuseries is not shying away from controversy. The A&E show has released its first trailer, and it features former members of the Church of Scientology telling Remini about the child rape, violence and abuse they encountered during their tenure.
Remini, an outspoken former Scientologist herself, wells up at several points in the trailer as she speaks with a handful of people. Her voiceover also implores members to “fight for your family.”
The Church of Scientology has yet to speak out about the series, but has not shied away from criticizing Remini in the past.
Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath premieres Nov. 29. on A&E.
