The Manhattan District Attorney dropped charges against a 26-year-old man who was accused of kicking a gay man outside Madison Square Garden, officials said.

Cops arrested Grant Leach after Curtis Campbell, 50, accused him of spewing hate speech, flipping him off and kicking him in the stomach on March 12, police said.

Campbell previously told the Daily News that he was standing on Seventh Ave. near W. 33rd St. with a friend when Leach accosted him, “physically and verbally assaulting” the alleged victim out of nowhere.

Campbell said that Leach told him, “You’re a f—–, you’re a h—. I’ll kill you.”

Police soon cuffed Leach and charged him with assault and harassment – charges that have now been dropped.

“After further investigation, the video footage obtained by the People does not corroborate the victim’s account of events,” prosecutors said in a statement. “Therefore, the People move to dismiss the case.”

It could not immediately confirmed whether Campbell will be investigated for filing a false report.

Reached by phone, Campbell expressed surprise that the charges had been dropped and said he hadn’t been notified. He added that he was thinking of suing Leach.
