Seasons come and go, but LIVE sports never stop on Peacock. Peacock’s expansive live sports programming includes Premier League, NASCAR, NTT IndyCar Series, SuperMotocross World Championship, PGA Tour golf, and much more. That’s why we put together this guide to all the big live sports and events happening this week from July 11 through July 17. That way, you don’t have to miss even one second of the action.

Golf

Amundi Evian Championship

The LPGA plays its fourth major of the year, bringing the action back to the Evian Resort Golf Club in France. This is the only golf major to be played in continental Europe, so it brings out the best in the world. Céline Boutier defends her championship against World No. 1 Nelly Korda, U.S. Women’s Open champion Yuka Saso, and more. Majors present some of the toughest challenges in golf. They bring out the best in players and can lead to huge upsets. This is one tournament worth waking up early for.

That will be a tall order, though. This will be McIlroy’s first tournament since the U.S. Open and he’ll be going up against last year’s runner-up Robert MacIntyre, Xander Schauffele, and more.

PGA TOUR University No. 1 Michael Thorbjornsen is also in the mix and golf fans are eager to see what he can do. Track & Field

Wanda Diamond League

The fastest, strongest Track & Field stars in the world are gearing up for Paris at the ninth event of the Wanda Diamond League season. This week’s meet brings them to Monaco where Noah Lyles hopes to earn his first Diamond League win of 2024 in the Men’s 200m. We’ll also see Dinah Asher-Smith, Karsten Warholm, and Jakob Ingebrigtsen compete in what’s sure to be a fantastic preview of the Olympic Track & Field action to come later this summer.

Motorsports

INDYCAR

INDYCAR’s fastest drivers keep the action coming this weekend as they take on the World’s Fastest Short Track at Iowa Speedway. This oval course is unlike any other in the country. A full lap only takes an average of 18 seconds, so drivers don’t get a moment’s rest. The hard corners at high speeds also make this one of the most physically demanding races of the whole season. Especially since they’ll have to do it twice. That’s right, this weekend is a doubleheader, with two 250-lap races on back-to-back days. A driver may be able to pull out a win on Saturday, but will they have enough left in the tank to do it again on Sunday? Truly anything can happen at Iowa Speedway

Saturday at 3:45p ET: Qualifying

This week, The U.S. Women’s National team plays its penultimate match before Paris against Mexico in New Jersey’s Red Bull Arena. Mexico defeated the USWNT in the group stage of this year’s Concacaf Women’s Gold Cup, so both teams will be eager to take this rematch.
