It's been nearly two years since Superman's (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.

There is much to claw through here, so much so that the audience might easily find themselves exhausted from the overall aggression of the film. However, a lot of the story does work. The action is good, and the emotion feels real most of the time.

Never was happier after cinema... A great tdkr batman version.. Sad so many don't understand that it's not the 5 years batman... Go read comics than most of you will understand. Also watch the ultimate Cut it clears a lot of questions you might have after the theatrical version.

This movie is super hard to judge. For one minute, I'm thinking, "What is going on??" Then the next minute I'm thinking, "This is intense!" I really don't know what to say. The first half overall felt super jumbled and all over the place. They were trying to balance a plot and a few other subplots that made things feel really complicated. Then once the second half started, it started to condense and was an intriguing watch. Four DCEU films and it feels like they just want everything to be super high budget and world impacting. Not sure how I feel about that. If we were looking at the timeline order as well, I feel like it would have been better if this film came a bit later in the timeline. Overall, I'd say it was slightly above average. Also was not a fan of the Batman suit here.
