We all know that when finals roll around, school can get kind of crazy. This year, in the midst of all the stress, college students across the country have anonymously been spreading encouraging messages to each other on Facebook!
It all started at Queens University in Canada, where four students made a Queens U Compliments page. The "About" section says: "If there is something nice you have to say about someone but don't feel comfortable saying it to their face, inbox away. Your name will be kept anonymous. Spread happiness!"
Queens students have anonymously messaged compliments to the page since September. Sweet and silly messages are posted on the Queens U Compliments timeline for everyone to see, such as "Clare is the most beautiful girl in the world. She makes every day brighter!" and "Maddy always makes me smile. I'm so lucky to have met such an incredible friend!"
Since the Queens page was created in September, Columbia, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, and Tulane (just to name a few!) have followed suit.
Sabrina S. was surprised and excited when she was complimented on her school's Compliments page. "Being complimented seriously made my day. I'm still wondering who it was, but that kind of makes it more special," she said.
