Activision Blizzard and Overwatch 2

Activision Blizzard decided to create a sequel to its renowned PvP shooter franchise, Overwatch, and released it in 2023, changing massive things to the previous release, with the sequel known for being a Free-to-Play title. However, upon its release almost one year ago, Overwatch 2 was bombarded with negative reviews from gamers, claiming it did not live up to the hype.

Early access players have also regarded Overwatch 2 as a 'disappointing game,' and many gamers have also wished for Activision Blizzard to prevent the developers from killing off the original title.

That being said, Overwatch 2 remains Activision Blizzard's main PvP online action-shooter game, apart from the renowned Call of Duty franchise.

Massive improvements and updates were introduced by Activision Blizzard along the way, looking to enhance the gaming experience for this game more, including a previous introduction of a Cowboy Bebop crossover. In the spirit of expanding more of what to experience in the game, Blizzard introduced the latest Overwatch 2 x Transformers collaboration, debuting the alien robots to join the fight.
