In the heart of Limassol, Cyprus, the 2024 INEX Charity Ride brought together 80 eager young cyclists, all geared up and ready to take on the challenge. Organized by the local cycling group INEX Club, the event was a resounding success thanks to the cyclists' enthusiasm for the sport and the generosity of the event's sponsors, such as entrepreneur and former professional cyclist Igor Makarov, who raised funds in support of budding professional cyclists in Cyprus.
Though it has been decades since Makarov graced the professional cycling arena, his love for the sport never faded. Today, he uses his experience and resources to inspire and motivate new riders, specifically in Cyprus, to strive for excellence in their cycling endeavors.

Despite the heat, participants cycled through Limassol's terrains, starting from the INEX Club in Germasogeia and passing through scenic locations such as Agros, Larnaca, Protaras, and Ayia Napa. The cyclists demonstrated their endurance and skill, traversing the demanding terrain and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts.
The ride concluded at the INEX Cycling Coffee Garage, where participants gathered to share their experiences and the adrenaline rush from the challenging routes. The beautiful scenery of Cyprus provided a stunning backdrop for the event, allowing cyclists to immerse themselves in the landscape while pushing their limits.
