I don't know if I'm craving eating at restaurants or this restaurant is that good. It's probably both. When you can't visit restaurants for three months returning is such a wonderful event. The employees being able to work and earn a living again probably ups their game too. Either way, I absolutely enjoyed my visit. My first impression was a chuckle with the sign hanging on the patio that said "Eat in The Buff". The hosts were wearing masks, but their polite helpful demeanor still came through loud and clear. We waited about 15 minutes in our car for a seat on the patio. Our server was prompt, attentive, and enjoyable to interact with. The food was a great. We ordered the Harvest Skillet, Ole Skillet and Eggs Benedict. The veggies in the Harvest were fresh. The potatoes has a nice grill char covered with muenster cheese. The Ole was pleasantly spiced with chorizo and green chilies. The cheddar con queso covered the whole dish. I savored every bite. I'd definitely recommend eating here. It's a great experience, plus everyone wears mask. The tables are spread apart for proper social distantencing.

Stopped here on a recent Sunday to meet some elderly friends who live in Boulder. Arrived at 9 AM and they were able to get us into a table right away. Unfortunately the table was very large and had seating for six people. Not real good for our two guests who are elderly and hard of hearing. We asked to be moved to a smaller table that had just been vacated near us. Staff was very accommodating and immediately made the move and got us a table where we could be closer to our guests. All of the staff was excellent and very attentive. They were Johnny on the spot with taking care of things but not in your face. This place is very busy but they handle the crowds well. Everybody enjoyed the food and the Mexican type breakfasts seem to be the winners at our table. Green chili is very tasty and worth getting. Coffees are good and well prepared. Lemon pancakes were good just disappointing there was only two of them for $14. With no sides. Only complaint would be their prices but it is Boulder. Four people for breakfast with black coffee times two, one ice tea, and one latte, was $100 even.

I've been here many times for breakfast. They serve a classic menu filled with any breakfast selection you may desire, and then some... It's a popular joint. If you want to eat on a weekend morning, be ready to wait (...but it's worth the wait!).

Our first time here. Came in for a Sunday breakfast. Friendly service at first. Ate outside. Bacon was undercooked and fatty. Our bill was presented before we were finished with our meal and ordering additional food/beverages. We asked to have our plates taken off the table to make room. Our waitress walked away and we waited 5 minutes for our table to be serviced. After informing the waitress we weren't finished dining/ordering, we experienced a total attitude change to the negative.

Love this place so much. Everyone is always thrilled with their food, the service is great, and even though you’re waiting for your table you can still get a mimosa, Bloody Mary or coffee drink. We’ve only eaten on the patio but it was great. Skillet breakfasts were delicious and the omelette as for great reviews as well.

Popular place - we waited 30 minutes for a table. I found the food disappointing and we felt rushed by the server. They also forgot some items (maple syrup and our side order) and it was hard to get the attention for more coffee.

While on a visit to Boulder, I opted to check out The Buff since it was close to my hotel. Weekends are packed, so I chose to visit Monday morning for breakfast. I had the Eggs Florentine Benedict and boy was it good. The hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy; just perfect over easy over eggs, spinach, and tomatoes on an English muffin. Portions at The Buff are big, so come hungry. The menu is large and there’s something for everyone. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and social distancing protocols are being followed. If in Boulder again, I’d come to The Buff again.

Lots of people waiting but wow they turn those tables over! Extremely friendly server (Aton??), super quick service. My omelette came out a tiny bit wrong and he insisted on having it fixed. The mocha latte was ridiculous (sooo gooood)(and also beautiful). The pancakes were the best I’ve had in a long time. My daughter loved her Benedict. Also… as a Coke addict… excellent fountain Coke.

Friendly service. Excellent food. Teenaged son ate the Breakfast Burger. Huge. Tasty. Would order again. The beef chili was wonderful. Wife got the vegan skillet and loved it. Daughter got the kids pancakes and fruit and toast. Restaurant was 3/4 full on a Wednesday in March at 1pm. Would definitely eat there again.

We loved eating in The Buff! We arrived to a wait line that might have been long in other places, but The Buff staff was so efficient that it moved quickly and we had a very brief wait on a busy Saturday morning. Our server, Natalie D, was super friendly, professional and attentive. All the food was amazing! Especially loved the griddle cakes, oatmeal, sausage and fresh grapefruit juice. Highly recommend!

The Buff is a place to celebrate at, feast at, and show off to visitors. My friends and I love starting off everyone’s birthday with Buff brunch, they are able to seat large groups, the food comes out fast, and there are so many options that everyone can enjoy. I also love bringing my family here when they visit Boulder because they all leave so full and happy, and it allows me to brag about the city of Boulder and how amazing the food is. The Buff is a must when in Boulder, and I promise it will not disappoint!

We chose this restaurant because of the gluten-free options. Its only open 7am-2pm the chicken and French toast was awesome! A huge piece of chicken and maple syrup to dip the French toast into! Good coffee. Others in our group loved the food and we would choose this place again!

Portion sizes were great, service was good, but the food was missing something. I shared two meals (Chicken & French Toast and the Breakfast Tacos with Avocado.) Both meals were missing something to make them great. Presentation was a 9 out of 10, taste was a 7 out of 10. The Iced Chai Tea was delicious, the sweet potato fries were good (and a very large portion). Overall, I give this restaurant a 3 because I won't return (not memorable).

Went there for breakfast/brunch on Monday morning. We had the $0.99 cocktails (mimosa, Bloody Mary or screwdriver). Ok, we might have had 2! We also had the Chimmi Pollo (huge but awesome) and Lemon Pecan Griddle Cakes (good but not great). The service was super attentive, both at the
