FOUNDER & CEO

A veteran of the digital media industry, Jacob Nizri has spent the last two decades pioneering and shaping industry trends in both executive and entrepreneurial roles.

He formed WeEndeavor Media Group in 2015 as a central management team to navigate the group’s various entities in which Mr. Nizri has equity or board duties. WeEndeavor (renamed 44 Ventures in 2021) comprises a team of top industry veterans who actively serve as hands-on board members and consultants for the following global companies that the Group oversees: Literally Media (home of Cracked, eBaum’s World, Know Your Meme, and Cheezburger), Twist Digital, MindAd Media, OnoMagic, VidClub, Boldwin, KO Digital, Ybrant Digital.

Mr. Nizri began making a name for himself as a serial entrepreneur earlier in his career. Prior to establishing WeEndeavor, Mr. Nizri was at the helm of several companies that were successfully acquired. The list includes Oridian, where Mr. Nizri was CEO and successfully sold the business to Ybrant Digital in 2007, and Dau-Up, a marketing powerhouse for gaming companies, where he served as partner and board member until it was acquired by XLmedia (listed on the London SE) in 2014. Mr. Nizri was also the owner of Positive Mobile, which was acquired by Ynet in August 2019. He also served as a board member of eXelate, which was acquired by Nielsen in March 2015. In addition, he was an investor and a board member of both Corr.BI, acquired by Moonbow in 2018, and Web3, acquired by FOREST 23 and TIDBAY in December 2021, and an investor in Convert Media, which was acquired by Taboola in July 2016.

Mr. Nizri also lends his business savvy and industry expertise to the non-profit sector. He takes an active role on the board of directors of Appleseeds Foundation, a non-profit whose mission is bridging Israel’s growing Startup Nation with underserved communities in the social and geographic periphery.

He is a graduate of Israel’s College of Management and has a dual degree in education and business, specializing in computer science. Following his undergraduate degree, Mr. Nizri was selected to be part of the prestigious Executive Education YPO Presidents’ program at Harvard Business School
