This is my second time coming to 606, and I can confidently say I am impressed with everything presented. The first time I went, my girlfriend and I had a gracious experience. My girlfriend also claimed that the food is even better than what is found in China. Everything from the milk tea, soups, meat options, and vegetarian options were so impressive. If you're reading this message, please give this place a chance! It will not disappoint!

It is my second time visiting 606 since it's soft opening. There are more authentic Cantonese dishes on the menu, and the restaurant is packed! We ordered hot and sour soup, Dry Fry Beef Hor Fun, string beans, milk tea and salt & pepper pork chops. As someone who was born and raised in China for 20 years, these dishes reminds me of home and outperform many restaurants in China. The service is so nice. Me and my partner both ran out of battery that day, which they helped us charge both phones for the whole time. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I almost want to gatekeeper this place because I love it so much. Located between China Town and North Beach, 606 offers delicious Hong Kong style cuisine. They have Yelp waitlist which makes it easy to snag a table and the ambiance is clean and comfortable.

The first time I went here, I tried the salt and pepper chicken wings, simons garlic chicken, bok choy and beef ho fun. The portions are large and flavors are on point. The wings were my favorite. I would recommend 606 for larger groups to be able to try more dishes.

Really delicious Chinese/Hong Kong cuisine! Walked in on a Sunday late afternoon for lunch for 2 and didn't have to wait. We ordered 3 dishes and a bowl of rice to share, and it was plenty of food, had to pack leftovers to take back home.

We had Simon's garlic chicken, salt and pepper fish, and the fried tofu with chopped shrimp. All 3 dishes were very good, but my favorite was probably the fried tofu dish. It's doused in a delicious sauce, and the tofu is very soft on the inside. I asked for a side of hot sauce to add to the salt and pepper fish which enhanced it quite a bit. Otherwise by itself without some sauce, the outer layer was a bit dry/bland.

We also had the Hong Kong milk tea which was delicious. I wish the portion of it was bigger though with more ice. When it came out, most of the ice was already melted from the heat of the water used to brew the tea. Another small complaint was that I had to remind the waiter twice that we ordered a bowl of rice, so there was quite a delay in the delivery of our one bowl of rice. Otherwise, the food here is great but had to knock down a star for the milk tea and forgetful service.

I was pleasantly surprised by 606. They serve primarily Cantonese food and the restaurant looks clean and modern. We were seated quickly during peak lunch hours on Sunday and ordered: salt and pepper fish, sesame chicken, pea sprouts, string beans, and fried rice.

A highlight was the Salt and Pepper Fish. This came out piping hot and the breading was SO thin and crispy. I hope they never take this off their menu. Their Hong Kong style iced lemon tea was very refreshing and I loved the fresh lemons paired with black tea. Make sure to stab the lemons to get all the lemon juice! String beans had an unexpected spicy kick to it (this isn't usually a spicy dish, so be aware if you have a very low spice tolerance)

I'll be back to try more of their Cantonese style dishes like Beef Hor Fun, dim sum, and HK style milk tea.

Canto style foods in Chinatown SF. Was in the area with my friends and just wanted a quick lunch which this place certainly delivers. Short waits we went on a weekday afternoon. We ordered three dishes amongst the three of us. Garlic chicken was very good // well battered// fried and the chow fun tasted how we thought it would no real surprises/nothing out of ordinary. We weren't a fan of the salt pepper fried tofu and the server took note of that with real concern asking why we didn't want to take our left overs with us barely touching the dish. We were honest and said we didn't really like it and he asked for comments then took it off the check!! That was so nice we were just going to pay for it but we really appreciated that!!!

I just can't. Words can't describe the flavor bomb, the layers of flavor, and the balance in the two dishes I tried today. The sweet and sour pork ribs and shrimp tofu are an ABSOLUTE MUST TRY. I am SO THANKFUL I stumbled upon this place with my friend as we stopped for a late lunch in China Town SF.

The food, the food, the food. I was blown away at how freshly cooked the dishes were, yet tastey. I will, definitely, come back. I want to TRY EVERY DISH. I just HAVE TO. There is no other proper response to GOOD FOOD. PERIOD.

Came here with a group of friends for dinner a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! Our friend had raved about this place so she wanted to take us and I'm glad she did. The location is great, walkable from both little Italy and Chinatown. The restaurant itself is really clean and has a minimalistic aesthetic.
The food was so good! We ordered a variety of meat, noodle, rice, and veggie dishes. Everything was really good and made with such care. One of our friends was gluten free and the chef came out to make sure that we ordered things to accommodate for his dietary restrictions.
The overall vibe of the restaurant was 10/10 and will definitely be coming back here to try the rest of their menu!

606 is back open after 3 years being closed in the pandemic! Alvin, one of the nephews of the original family owners was so courteous and even threw in a free drink for us when we were debating which one to order.

The food was all really delicious, and their menu is quite simple but effective. It's not over the top but everything exceeded my expectations compared to other restaurants in Chinatown. I really liked Simon's Garlic Chicken, and also the salt & pepper fish as well as the drinks! The prices are very reasonable when split family style.

The interior is quite modern and renovated. I really appreciated they let us hang around and talk even after our dinner ended until they closed!

I'm super excited to come back and try their downstairs secret old style menu!!!
