Q:
Is this worthy of Michelin star?
A:
First off, remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Restaurant reviews are highly subjective and are based on the tastes of the reviewer. As for me, I'm just a poor old country boy living out in the West Texas town of El Paso and I don't… more

Finally got to try this place after almost a decade sitting in my bookmarked folder! They have a casual bistro setting downstairs and then a fancier steakhouse vibe atop the building upon arriving via elevator. The menus are different, but literally everything I tasted on the downstairs menu was delectable. Note it is very difficult to get a table on an evening when there is a musical/play at the theater adjacent to the building. Book your table ahead of time online to ensure you aren't turned away upon arrival.
It was my friend's birthday so they put a sparkler in their dessert. It was a nice surprise and we all loved the meal together. The service was very good! We had to park a little ways away, but it was worth it for this yummy meal.
I had the catch of the day halibut and was speechless at how good it was. If you're the type of person who isn't sure if they should order fish so far from a body of water, do not fear! The fish here is on par with that of Seattle or San Francisco.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 13, 2024
I wanted to love this place -- it's conveniently located in the heart of downtown El Paso, a short walking distance from the arts district, theaters, and more, and it's thoughtfully designed both inside and out. The dishes were well prepared, and the alfresco setting is lovely. Service had its ups and downs though. We received the wrong beer order twice, and our server vanished near mid-meal (we would've ordered dessert but had already waited a half-hour). That said, it may be more a problem of a "team approach" as a whole than with any one server, and we did enjoy the food.

We love this place. They have a really good meatloaf, a steak and fries option, and really good soup and appetizers. We reserved a table at lunchtime for a large party which they were able to accommodate. Definitely on the more pricey side, but it's great for a date night, for brunch, or any other opportunities that you have when you're downtown. Service is great too. Like I said, a little more showy and a little more pricey, but the food quality matches what you pay for. I'd come here again. 5/5.

I totally forgot to take pictures but whenever I go again I'll take some. I got the burger and it was top notch! The bacon is thick, the beef was just right, rich and full flavor! The bread was super good. I'm a super picky eater so I always get burgers everywhere I go. Id totally try more in the future though.

Ricardo thank you so much for the great review. We just added a Frito Burger to our menu. It's a burger you will not get just anywhere in El Paso.
We also have a Bison Burger Upstairs, which is our top seller. We look forward to your next visit. - Andrea F.San Antonio, TX03442Jul 6, 2024
They're good and service is really good. Also the ambiance is fancy-ish. The location of the place is right next to everything in downtown and the food is pretty tasty-it's like elevated new American.

Anson Eleven needs our attention and support, as the traffic downtown has come to a halt. With a difficult migrants situation many people were afraid to go downtown. I was there today and our downtown is safe. It is time to support our local businesses and Ansen Eleven offers a great lunch menu with diverse salads and affordable starters. Their mussels fries and dégustation pork belly tacos with Kimchi were excellent. Their salmon salad with a lemon Dijon vinaigrette was fantastic! The decor is modern high end Brasserie style. There is a lot to like here. Service was also very attentive and professional.

This is food experience was one of my worst ever and I ear in restaurants 5 nights a week!
I frequent Anson 11 when I am in town & always had pleasant experiences with great atmosphere, service, music and drinks.
Last night all the above was good with exception of the food which was horrendous for my party of 4.
None of us even ate 1/4 of the food.
Flatbread was cold & tasted like stell dough.
Chicken Alfredo , chicken was hard dry & foul tasting while noodles & mushrooms were cold like several days old
Brocilli was not cooked, potatoes were stale & old.
Meatloaf was days old and fish was foul.
It's been yrs since I ve had food this bad across the board and for $100 a person it was ridiculous.
As I said all my previous experiences were good but this trip horribleHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We dined in the early evening. Waite staff was friendly and helpful with favorite dishes when I ask. We started with the calamari. The batter was a little heavier than the standard batter at other restaurants however that did not take away from the fact that the dish was delicious with the aioli dipping sauce. Main dishes we ordered were the meatloaf and the steak fritter dish. Personally I would sub in mash potatoes or a green veggie instead of fries next time. The steak was tender and the sauce on top of delicious. We finished our dinner off with chocolate cake with berries and gelato. I wish I could eat this dessert everyday. It was delicious. We will definitely return for a repeat experience next time we are in El Paso.

solid restaurant in el paso! the vibes of the restaurant is super chill and cool. the service was also great! it's in the middle of downtown el paso and i am definitely down to come back and try other menu items :)
what we ordered:
* salmon! not sure bc my boyfriend ordered this but he was extremely satisfied with his meal.
* french onion roast beef sandwich - 8/10! it was so juicy and the bread was toasted so well! the fries were also so crispy and seasoned well. the soup that it came with to dip the sandwich made it so much juicier and more flavorful too!
* pork belly tacos - 6/10! a little too fatty for my taste but the taco itself wasn't badHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
