Angie helped our group of 5 dress up in stylish vintage fashion, and the selection did not disappoint! We all have different styles and were able to find items that fit our bodies - at a great price! I got a very unique and timeless salsa dress and a patterned silk button down. I didn't expect to leave the store with clothes but I really found things I am now obsessed with: Thanks Angie!

Most hip thrift store in the city. So much good stuff to find. Great prices and selection. Really kind workers as well. Must see when in Nola!

I discovered a gem of a shop called Blue Dream at 2121 Chartres St., a few steps from where the historic New Orleans French Quarters begins.
The shop is chocked full of quality vintage wear, such as women's and men's clothing, shoes, jewelry, eye glasses, purses, and carry bags.
There are also specialty fragrance potions, local arts' ceramics, unusual knives, pipes, incense burner holders, and more.
The personable shop owner Sam is a very likable guy who is down-to-earth and makes you feel very welcome to browse around and not feel pressured to buy. When that is the case, I unusually end up purchasing way too much!
Local artist Rebecca Cash assists customers with choosing the right garment and has a keen eye for design. She possess that 'je ne sais quoi' style, be it in fashion for you or your environment.
The Blue Dream, a place you must experience!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sep 11, 2018
This shop is tucked away on a side street, no street parking was available when we came by. There is a paid parking lot down the street though. We walked over and it took less than five minutes. This shop is laid out nicely, it is very clean and the woman working that day was friendly. It is mostly vintage clothing and some hand made jewlry. If you are ok with dropping $50-$100 and are a size 0-4 you'll love this place. There is not much selection for curvier women, and I get it they sell what they can find. I am not that fancy though and can't justify spending that much on a piece of clothing unless it is spectacular.

Very cool shop with vintage items and artisan jewelry and gifts. A bit on the pricey side for clothing, but, gifts are unique and fun.
Smudging sage is sold here too.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah E.New Orleans, LA159165509Jul 26, 2017
I really liked the atmosphere of the store. The girl working was really helpful with trying to find a dress for me. I tried on a bunch but most didn't fit (one of the issues with looking at vintage clothing).
My boyfriend was walking around the store and overheard the manager/owner (?) talking with some friends about how he can buy a box of 30 jeans for $100 and then charge $100 for each. Sounds snobby and like an inappropriate discussion to me. Not cool.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jacks R.Yonkers, NY210Apr 4, 2019
Very curated store therefore the prices are high for a thrift shop. You can tell the curators style right away, very floral and bright. For men there was mostly denim. They also sell a variety of independent artists' jewelry, art, post cards, greeting card and handmade soaps.

This place has *amazing* clothing. I wanted every single thing I found. They are however, very pricey! I couldn't afford anything that I found but if you're looking for something vintage and freakin awesome and are willing to spend around 100 dollars then this is the place for you! It's also very clean and aesthetically pleasing in here. You probably won't be able to find street parking but there's a payed parking lot right next to it.

i came in here to check out their wares based on their location and reviews. i was pleasantly surprised by their curated goods from cards, to housewares, to crystals, to vintage clothing and accessories. i however am used to better prices for curated vintage in michigan and in semi-urban california. for example, most shift dresses i have bought are in the $15-$30 range. this 90s baby doll dress i bought was $44 here.
i would stop by and check them out if you are here in the city of jazz.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
