About the Business
We do our best to be as authentic as we can from homemade hot sauce made with Brazilian peppers grown right in our own backyard, we make our on spices with fresh herbs and no MSG what so ever, we even filter the water we use to cook, burger patties are made from scratch from grinding them to seasoning them . We also make our own country style sausage just like in the old day real chunks of meat in it , Also smoke six different types of pork in house . our cure beef is dryer than 35% for our traditional feijoada. Every morning we open for breakfast with fresh out of the oven cheese bread and French roll (the only thing we do not make in house). There's several other options , we make our own vegetarian burgers , fresh squeezed sugar cane and orange juice , just come on in and give us a try !

Oh! My! Goodness! Gracious!
Stop what you're doing and go eat here. I decided to pop by Brazilian market & Café one day while I was getting my car serviced in the area and the food is PHENOMENAL! And the owner is just THE BEST!!! He came to my table spoke with me about his process in making all the foods, sauces, absolutely everything himself. No artificial colors/dyes/ingredients. Everything here is so wonderfully fresh and full of flavor!
I Really hope typing in all capital letters getting my point across because I want to just shout praises for this establishment from the rooftops. Honestly.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Great place to talk Portuguese! And mingle with people working there, especially on Sunday's they are open until 5pm. A little slow but understandable with Covid 19 and lockdowns. Help support the local! These guys got mean Coxinha! Too bad only one flavor today...

Arrived at 635pm. Two other groups of patrons already sitting at tables and have clearly ordered because they have drinks and one table was eating appetizers. 20 min later the waitress finally brings us menus then when we asked for two minutes to look at the menu, she walked away and never returned. After being there 30 minutes, we left. As we were leaving the owner or manager tried to convince us to stay. Even offered to comp us our meal. Tho we appreciated the offer, He would have lost money. And at that time, with several other consterna arriving and already placing to go orders, I doubt we would have had food in a reasonable time frame. Disappointing but I'll come back another day when they have more help.

Hello Lisa,
I just want to apologize to you guys again, I know is not a excuse that day was the first day we were serving the shish kobo's on the grill.
I was training the guy on the grill and helping running the kitchen.
After you guys left I had e vary serious conversation with the server, mainly to be more efficient with everyone.
some times some people walk in to the counter and order the food, I keep telling them to tell people to seat to avoid this type of situation.
Again All that I just said still not a excuse for you guys not to have the best service.
I am a firm believe that the customers is the owners of a business.
My offer to give you guys a free meal still stands, just let me know.
if I am not here ask them to call me.
Regards

I have been back here several times and found some really great things! The fried yucca is the best I have ever had. It's seasoned some kind of way....it's addictively delicious!! The breakfast is amazing as well. The cheese bread is heaven in your mouth- truly. The ham, bacon and cheese sandwich was delicious. It had a nice grill quality to it. I called in a takeout order one evening not realizing that it was 8 minutes before they closed, and the guy who took he order was so kind he said no problem just come on over. I was impressed :)
I'm really excited to try more breakfast items! Also to try the Brazilian hamburger and lunch/dinner sandwiches.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Dear Lacey and James,
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you guys.
You guys are great reviewers, also nice to see a couple so in tune with each other.
Sorry for the delay English in my second language and the time on a mom and pop restaurant is short.
We are an authentic Brazilian restaurant and in order to keep it real I need to cook as we do in Brazil.
The culinary there is healthier; the original disco we ground the beef use the seasons that I personally make in house with fresh herbs, spices, and salt without preservatives or M.S.G. Then we mix it with French bread that's why is dry, but now I am double bettered to it be moister. The Coxinha chicken croquette , how we make it is by cooking the dough with the chicken broth after we make it is braded with bread crumbs we only fry it for a minute that's way is dryer but healthier , we also offer one with cream cheese.
The grilled Brazilian Picanha (Colotte top sirloin cap stake). Exactly how is done in Brazil, but our servers will ask how you what your steak for now on.
I can tell why is good to eat here, filtered water, I make the spices, plant my herbs, plant the hot peppers from Brazil on my backyard to make the hot sauce, smoke the pork, salted and cured the beef, the burgers we grind the beef marinade it them make it and so on the only thing I do not make here is the French bread.
My doors are all ways open for you guys.
Thank you again for letting me know how you feel.
My name is Greyze Vieira.Jan 23, 2016Previous reviewMy fiancé and I came for dinner on a Friday night, and were impressed with the large menu. It's a grocery store with a food counter and a handful of tables in the back. The girl at the counter was friendly and very helpful- the service was excellent. We decided to try 3 appetizer pieces: the disco (seasoned ground meat in fried dough), the coxinah (shredded chicken in fried dough), and the risole (ground beef fried in dough). They were very different form anything I have had before, but good. We also got the chicken kebab plate and the grilled pichana (steak). The kebab was delicious and the beef was good but definitely over cooked, so it was dry. On the side came a while plate of rice and beans with each meal ; he also had fried bananas and I had yuca frites. The sides were all delicious. We will go back again to try the sandwiches!

I've always been a big fan of Portuguese and Brazilian cuisine, so I took the opportunity to try the Brazilian Market Cafe as soon as I saw it.
Truly some great authentic food and drinks here! Be sure to ask about the specials they are offering.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back again for a follow up.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Celest O.Nashville, TN13074Oct 10, 2019
I've passed this place often and I finally decided to go in today. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I explained how this was my first time trying Brazilian food.. I had already decided I was going to get the grilled chicken plate, I also got the cheese bread based off suggestion. Everything tasted great, well seasoned, and was made to order. I will be back! Thank you!

Stopped at this place wanting to see what they offered.
One of the worst customer service experience I've ever had in a restaurant. The two ladies working the day I went weren't friendly or very helpful.
From the moment I walked in I got the look of what are you doing here. I decided to overlook that. I got a menu and decided to see what they offered. I saw a couple dishes that caught my eye. I asked one of the women about a few of them. Her response was in a whisper we don't have that for all the dishes I asked about. Why is it on your menu if you don't have it is my question? Well that was enough for me. With the looks, attitude and overall unfriendliness I decided to take my business somewhere else. I wish I could have given it a zero rating.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

As a Brazilian who grew up in the states I can honestly tell you this place serves AMAZING authentic Brazilian food! No matter what you get you can't go wrong. The employees are so nice and friendly. Just had a very delicious lunch here (April 12, 2014) and am very happy with it. I got the loaded Brazilian steak sandwich. It's not easy to hold onto (called loaded for a reason), but it was very good. The place is a cool little café / market in a shopping plaza. Roomy, clean, and great service. The girl working the counter took good care of me and we even chatted a little bit about our cell phones...cuz I'm a klutz and totally dropped mine in the store with no case on it.
Next time I'm in the area, I will return for another delicious lunch... and to look like a klutz :-)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
