I was in the area and decided to stop by. We parked about a block away there's a lot of shops on this street. The place is big and they have a lot. They had a lot of vintage and new. Some really cute unique pieces. It was a little pricey but overall pretty cool things. We were able to find two t shirts.

They open at 11! Came here on a week day pretty early at opening time and like 5 other people were waiting with me. Everything is organized by size and item of clothing. I like the organization and you can try on clothes! The only parking available is parallel, but you can park in the neighborhoods nearby. I found some Aritzia/UO things that I liked that weren't too expensive. Be careful though, I did find some dresses where the straps were about to break off.

Cute shop, much larger than I thought it would've been. Visiting from out of state and I could've spent much longer here than I did, plus didn't want to buy too much.
We were greeted and asked if we were selling or buying, a bit confused on that part.
Only downside that the prices feel high considering most items are secondhand (Shein products are sold here, which I didn't like, they should've been sold more cheaper). Got a long sleeve, shorts and sandals for $51, and nothing was name brand. But if you do some digging around you can find some good items. They do have fitting rooms so that's a plus. Just wish the prices were lower considering some items are from Target and other similar stores.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Carmen A.Chalmette, LA185Jul 3, 2024
Staff is welcoming and friendly but store is smelly af. Smells like cigarettes, dirty laundry and sweat. Decent selection of clothing and priced accordingly. Just please get some air fresheners.

Cute little thrift store but overpriced. Went there with a group but didn't get anything. They had a wide variety of items form clothing to accessories.
Location was in a good, busy place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lorena C.New Orleans, LA310195366Apr 1, 2023
If you love quality second hand shops, you will love it here. The goods move quickly so as a shopping experience it's seldom redundant. Because the fashions are quality, things are priced well; but not cheap.
Parking isn't bad in the neighborhood but Magazine Street is very busy. You could miss it if you're enjoying the view but it's the same block with the big SW paint store, which most folks know. I like Buffalo Exchange more than Atlanta's--where I used to shop years ago when I lived there. Both charge for bags and that price continues to go up. There's something with tokens that I've never understood but it helps shoppers and the community somehow.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Frank J.Shreveport, LA06Sep 19, 2023
Huge selection. Be prepared to spend time and money on a good find. Very little cash in trade.

Used to be a go to spot since New Orleans thrift stores are so over-picked but the last few times I've gone I've seen Shein products and priced at $10-20. If I wanted to support slave labor I'd just pay half as much from shein itself.

Buffalo Exchange is so awesome! I love coming here to buy some hip, NAME BRAND clothing. I found a VINTAGE dress for my girlfriend from Forever 21 for only $47.99! Everyone here is so nice and stylish, not fake or stuck up or grotesque at all. Oh, and sell your old clothes here, you WILL get rich. Why would you go to some yucky thrift store and donate your clothes when you can sell them to Buffalo Exchange for literally hundreds of dollars? Don't forget to put one of the 5 cent tokens they give out in the Trans Youth Fund. And make sure you tip your cashier, too. They have an extremely hard and stressful job, on par with a first responder, but probably even worse to be honest.

It's all forever 21 and shein, plus the staff is rude. You can look through the whole store and only find cheap crop tops from some drop shipping Instagram store.
