I used the popular car purchasing apps (Carmax, Cars.com, Carfax, Carvana, and Car Guru) to search for the EV I want. A couple of these apps directed me to Green Light Auto with the make and model I wanted at a favorable price. It took about 20 minutes for me to see and test drive, and approximately 45 minutes to process paperwork, and left with my EV in about an hour. No hassle no haggle. I appreciate the quiet and pleasant experience. If you are looking for a used EV, I highly recommend you give Green Light Auto a try. The prospect of negotiating the purchase of a new vehicle at a dealership is daunting in the best of times. When I decided that it was time to buy a new car at the end of 2021, in the midst of the Omicron surge, I had no idea what I was in for. Pandemic supply shortages made it a sellers' dream market for both new and used vehicles, with dealers not only routinely selling above MSRP, but also pulling off exorbitant dealer markups in addition to the usual slew of unwanted and unexpected add-ons.

Since I knew what I wanted, I tried to independently shop around at local dealerships to compare prices. Turned out that, while salespeople were willing to order the vehicle, they consistently refused to disclose an out-the-door price before doing so. Some even requested a nonrefundable cash-or-check-only deposit. My Spidey sense told me to run. I imagined waiting a couple of months for the new car to arrive only to learn that the cost was four- or five-figures higher than anticipated from a salesperson with a "take-it-or-leave-it" attitude.

Unsure of how to proceed, I continued my online research until I stumbled upon BuySide Auto. I had never heard of an auto broker and, in a normal market, would not have thought it necessary to hire an agent. Pandemic pricing and public health precautions, however, made the prospect of having an auto sales insider work for me to find the best deal exclusively from the comfort of my home appealing.

After I submitted an inquiry online, it was a smooth, stress-free process: BuySide Auto's client manager / concierge extraordinaire, Kim Hoang, provided consistently knowledgeable, responsive and respectful customer service. I also needed to sell my existing vehicle, so did my homework and pulled Kelley Blue Book, CarMax, Carvana and Edmunds prices. The thought of posting an ad on Craigslist inviting strangers, including potential scammers and predators, to my home to test-drive my car, especially given COVID-19 concerns, made me uncomfortable. On the other hand, I did not want to accept a lowball dealership or online used car retailer offer for the convenience. BuySide Auto put my car out to bid and came back with a very reasonable figure. BuySide Auto's waiving of the $150 home delivery fee for the new vehicle if you accept the trade-in offer is icing.

The $395 BuySide Auto broker fee was worth every penny for the value created: time and energy not spent travelling to, negotiating with and signing paperwork at dealerships; confidence in securing good prices for both purchase and sale through the company's relationships and experience; and a pleasant customer experience. Chris made acquiring our new and hard to find SUV much less stressful. He was very personable and helpful, besides very straightforward.

He works with several dealers so he can obtain the lowest price possible for my special ordered SUV. When it finally arrived at the dealership from the factory, then he personally delivered it directly to my home, which was not close to his office. He also at the same time purchased and paid me for my old vehicle and then drove it away. He handled all the paperwork for both vehicles and walked us through it all.

Chris kept me informed throughout the vehicle order and manufacture process. He was good with the details and ensured that exactly what I ordered is what was delivered. Also, I was really pleasantly surprised that he gave us a full tank of gas when he dropped off our new SUV. He also spent some time helping us understand the electronics of the new SUV.

We had a great buying experience recently when hunting for a new all-electric vehicle with help from Kim Hoang of BuySide Auto. It was our first time getting concierge assistance for auto buying, and we'd do it all over again!

The BuySideAuto team is amazing! I have done several car purchases through Kim. This team is an ultimate game changer. Most people know they handle the selling to consumers, some know they also handle leasing, BUT I didn't know they BUY CARS too!

I always leased cars, and with my current lease ending in June I contacted Kim so j could get the next one started. The current market is an order your car makers, taking an average of 2 months wait. Kim of course got everything handled, super fast and easy!

She asked me if I was planning to keep my current car or turn it in. I said just turn it in. She told me they buy out lease agreements! I was shocked! I think that process was as easy as buying or leasing a car from them! BuySide paid off the current agreement and even gave me some equity! Once the price was offered, I accepted and in 24 hours my car was picked up from my house, a check was handed to me and I watched as it drove away!

If you don't want to be a deer in the headlights when you go to a dealer, I highly recommend these guys.

Hyundai Palisade is selling like hotcakes. I inquired Friday and got my Palisade Monday. Kim has been very prompt with my questions regardless of time and day. They will make sure you'll get the best offer and search for the car spec that you wanted.

Aside from Covid, it's really better to do everything online and let BuySide do the negotiating. Unless you're a professional haggler, I wouldn't trust myself dealing with Car Dealers who will make sure they will get most of your hard earn money since they do this everyday.

All Hyundai Palisade dealers were 1+ hours away from home. BuySide fee is very reasonable compared to all the time and trouble that I would have to do.

Their website is very user friendly and it's easy to get an idea on how much you will spend. The online process was seamless and they delivered my car on time.
