Q:
Does Clarke Garage on Gravier & O'Keefe offer in/out privileges if reserved online, or would I have to pay each time? I will be staying at an area hotel and don't want to pay the exorbitant hotel parking rates!

Very secure. Cheaper than the overnight hotel parking. The doors close at night and roll up when you need to leave

I went to New Orleans for a business trip but my visit coincided with the popular Bronner Brothers Hair Show so all of the hotels inside the city were booked. I ended up staying in Slidell and commuting into the city for the two days that I was there. My main concern was finding a safe place to park.
I discovered this place on Yelp and am so glad that I did! It's located in a great area, not at all too far from the French Quarter or the Central Business District which are all within 5-10 minute walking distance.
The parking spots are incredibly narrow so you have to be careful how you're parked. I saw one review that said levels 1 and 2 were reserved and that everything above that was fine but that wasn't my experience. While levels 1 and 2 of this garage might have been completely reserved, I saw many spaces on levels 3 and 4 that were reserved as well.
The turns are very tight but if you take your time you're likely to find a spot deeper on the levels. The reserved spots looked to be on the perimeter if the ramps, probably because they were easiest to get to. The prices were very affordable and this will definitely be my goto parking garage when I return to New Orleans for my next trip!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cori V.Spanish Fort, AL26392949Dec 19, 2019
Great parking garage. The price is very affordable compared to others in the area and it is a covered garage vs outdoor lot. The garage is small and tight for driving in. I would not recommend a large vehicle.
There is no in/out privilege but you can visit your car anytime. (Drop stuff off)
Great parking place

It was great to be able to book online ahead of time. It's a little cramped but definitely worth the money. I wound up on the seventh floor to find a decent spot to park my truck which is really long. Only a block and a half from Bourbon Street! I was able to unload my stuff at the hotel, go park, go back to the hotel. There's no elevator. But it's safe and convenient.

I do not usually complain but, this parking garage has Horrible service! Unhelpful and rude employee. Answering my questions with nonsense answers. BEWARE.

I came in on St. Paddy's so not the best of days, nonetheless, they still had parking which is more or less the cheapest in the area ($15/day). The spaces are kind of small and the ramps narrow but it did the trick. Easy signage to get in and out.

This is the parking garage for the CBD area that also caters to a few hotels.
I've parked in here a few times and I've never had any issues. The way it works is: you park, take your ticket with you, pay on the machine downstairs upon your return, insert your ticket in the machine on the way out of the garage and you're released- in other words, you don't deal with an attendant.
I've never had any issues with this garage and paying has always been a breeze. The first 5 levels are reserved, so don't park there unless you are lucky enough to have a reserved spot. The price is good for the area and a lot of nice restaurants are within walking distance of the garage.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Briana A.Dallas, TX3539Aug 29, 2019
Good price. Convenient location to our hotel. Turns are tight but not a big deal! Will park here again next time I visit!

We spend my birthday in New Orleans ! We spend 3 nights and left our car in this garage for the whole time and paid $60 I believe! Each 24 hrs was $20 which wasn't so bad! The garage was a 5 min walk to bourbon st
