I was disappointed that I couldn't return a phone for money, only for store credit (turned out it wasn't compatible with my new carrier, and I decided to buy a phone through my carrier instead of taking the chance again). I hope they might change this policy or at least make it more clear when selling phones. I know I'll use the credit eventually because this is my go-to repair shop, but right now I'm out $130.
So be aware of that, but this is a great place to get your phone repaired or buy a used phone. My other review was from when I first went there. Since then, I've bought 2 used phones from them and the phones have been cheap and worked perfectly. (I dropped one in the bathtub and one was locked to my old carrier--nothing wrong with the quality of the phones.)
They are always helpful and quick. They try their best to fix things but are honest when something can't be fixed (like my bathtub phone!).

Compupod gave me the best quote from all vendors on Yelp to replace a battery in my Samsung tablet.
I brought in my tablet, they had the battery in stock. I picked up the tablet a couple of days later. The new battery holds a good charge for longer, as I'd hoped.
They honored the quote I'd been given.

He changed the price after he found out I had the parts that are very cheap on eBay but works fine.
Edit: $95 to replace battery. Use my parts and it's the same price.

Thank you for your feedback. We did make a mistake on the quote (we are only human). But I did tell you that we could honor the price. ( The reason why we would like to use our parts is because we can give you a better warranty if we instal ours.). We are not in the business to nickle and dime over $10 to $20. Just though it would make sense to let you know from the get go that we had made a mistake. We gave you the price for and iPad 2 intsead of an iPad Air 2. Have a wonderful day and hopefully you can give us a chance to show you that we do our best to be a legit business.

I asked for a new screen protector on my newer phone and usually it's quick to install. this time it was defected so they gave me half off the price.

My experience was positive from beginning to end. The staff was friendly and efficient. They estimated the time it would take to make the repair and had my phone waiting for me when i returned. The price was excellent, half of what another company had quoted me. If I need any other repairs I'd definitely return to Compupod!
