Cowboy Star

Cowboy Star is Fantastic from the front door greeting to the serving staff being very friendly to the kitchen staff really knowing their way around a steak. I had the Cowboy Cut bone in ribeye with a Mac & Cheese side, I tossed in 3 scallops just for fun. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare. The scallops had a nice sear and super tender. Mac & Cheese was incredible. Creamy with just the right amount of bacon (that means alot). The table services was outstanding. Very attentive right down to the crumb scraper. I can't forget the cocktails. The bartender made a great old fashion and my Martini was perfect. Ice cold a virtual ice skating rink made of vodka.

If you don't go and check them out you are missing a gem. You don't get this kind of service and food much anymore. Celebrate a special occasion with them. You won't be sorry.

Such a great experience! We've been searching for a good steak house here in Colorado Springs since we moved here a year ago, and cowboy star delivered. The staff was so lovely. The steak and sides were delicious, impressive wine menu, great cocktails.

We will 100% be back!

After debating over 4 different steakhouses suggested by Yelp, I landed at Cowboy Star. Yelp came through again!
It was just me and had no problem getting a seat at the bar. Hostess was very nice and escorted me to a barstool. Restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Both bartenders were attentive and worked well to make sure everyone was being cared for. I ordered a glass of wine and the 8oz filet medium rare. While it took a little while to come out, it was the perfect temperature and delicious. I feel it was a little over priced for an 8oz, but I knew this going in and it was really good, could have eaten a few more ounces if they showed up on the plate.
I ended up leaving my credit card at the bar. Didn't realize until after getting back to the hotel. Called the restaurant and they had it secured in the managers office. Headed back to get it and the staff was expecting me, checked my ID and handed over the card. Very responsible staff! The professionalism shows from the minute you walk in the door.

Date night at Cowboy star. Everyone is so friendly, and efficient at what they do. We had a corn soup for an Appetizer, my wife had the halibut and I had the Aged Ribeye. Food was excellent, service was excellent. Another great night at Cowboy Star!

Cowboy Star, from the minute we arrived, we were in for a great experience. The hostess was welcoming and friendly. We had a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. The ambiance of the restaurant and decor was amazing.

We sat with Dustin, he made the entire experience memorable and was very attentive. His overview of the menu items was on point and his recommendations exceptional.

We started our evening with cocktails and a charcuterie board which was plentiful for four and beautifully presented. The cocktails were delicious and perfectly balanced. Our mains included filets as well as an amazing Ribeye. They were all accompanied with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The temperatures of the steaks were perfect, medium rare. The charring on the meat was perfect.

Cowboy Star is one of the best restaurants we've experienced, having been in Texas, Miami and many other cities, without a doubt the food here is amazing. We would definitely recommend visiting and if you can, ask for Dustin for an even better experience.

I'm always out to find a good steak. This place may have just came in first on my list! I think my particular cow, let's call her Susie, had a pretty good life. I imagine she ate the finest grass, maybe some fancy imported grain? Who knows? I will say she tasted freaking amazing!

The most wonderful birthday dinner! We loved the atmosphere. Elegant without being stuffy. Staff were super friendly and communicated to an almost astonishing level. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and tasted like a little bit of magic. The cocktails themselves are worth the visit! I know this review probably sounds embellished, but it is not! Fantastic restaurant!

Our absolute favorite steakhouse in the Springs! The service is impeccable. The steaks are amazing. I love to get my filet Oscar style. We like to go here for special occasions as well because they do a great job at making it an exceptional evening for you! Everything we have tried here is excellent. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding. Truly the best dessert I've ever had. It's fine dining but cozy at the same time. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner in Colorado Springs.

The food was absolutely wonderful! I sat at the chef counter and had great service from all of the staff. My filet was perfectly cooked one of the best I've ever had, and the desert was phenomenal as well! I highly recommend eating here if you have the time. I will definitely be back!

It's like Maestros meets Colorado. Fine dining with exceptional service.

Each waiter/waitress is knowledgeable on the menu from wine pairings to what's new to try.

Steak tartare is a must if it's on the menu when you dine in. Tender and almost sweet.

Get the porterhouse to share with your boo if you're ordering with your eyes and not with your stomach. More likely than not, there will be plenty of leftovers.
