Does this place have a parking area?

      A:

No, it is street parking. If you park in the lot across the street for the CVS, you could get towed, from what I remember.

Creole Creamery was very busy. However, their systems afforded efficient service and great attention to detail. The ability to watch an employee passionately prep ice cream was truly remarkable. He was diligent and very careful. The organization and cleanliness of his area makes me confident in Creole Creamery's practices to be aware of health regulations.

I had the skyscraper and my friend indulged in the fudge brownie a la mode... both were filling and equally delicious.

A neighborhood institution (or it was to me, as once discovered, I visited multiple times while in town) you can taste the quality in Creole Creamery's ice cream flavors. And there are MANY flavors, so much so (and with so many given names that don't quite conjure up what it'll totally taste like) that you'll want to have a sample or more while you narrow it down. The help is willing to give them to you, but behind them are signs reminding you not to be a sample hog. If the flavors had a description of ingredients on the label (as does B-R) we wouldn't feel so guilty asking for more samples and they wouldn't have to put up signs like that!

By my final visit, I had created a milkshake emulating yellow cake with chocolate frosting: a scoop of "everyone asked for cake" (or something like that - the flavor isn't listed online) and a scoop of chef's perfect chocolate. The cake ice cream doesn't have much frosting flavor, so it doesn't get in the way of the goal, and the employee was enthusiastically invested in this concoction. "Did it work?" I was asked. Oh, it was right on the money! And if I was still in town, I'd be visiting all the time. Is that what they want, or just what I want?!

My obsession with Creole Creamery continues! I honestly should get paid to sample ice cream! Anywho, my most recent visit I bought two pints, one mango sorbet and the other chocolate amaretto Cheesecake! I really can't get enough of their ice cream! So I also got a cone with a scoop of espresso to eat on the way home. I easily spent about $25 on ice dream for myself. No buyer's remorse here.

There's always a line here but it's fun to build up the anticipation!

Prep to stand in a bit of a line, but the ice cream is worth it!

Great selection of classic and unique flavors! I tried the chocolate torte and the chocolate amaretto cheesecake (yes, I was in a chocolate mood) in a waffle cone.

Side note... the waffle cones here are great!

I did really enjoy the amaretto cheesecake! It has so much good flavor and a great texture. The torte was a nice dark chocolate, but a stiffer consistency and I was hoping for a tiny bit more sweetness.

Overall a great ice cream spot! Would recommend!

BEST PLACE EVER FOR A SWEET TREAT!! they have so many amazing flavors to choose from there's always something for everyone!! Can not express how amazing this place is without giving all my money to creole creamery!! The Banana pudding, champagne, violet, magnolia flowers, white tea are such amazing spring flavors!! Can't wait for them to bring back matcha and yuzu!! The line goes fast as the service is very helpful and patient. The ice cream shop is decorated in kids drawing and polaroid pictures, which is so cute!! really captures the childhood memories creole holds.

They're always pretty consistent and work in a good timely manner. Their service is pretty good and the ice cream itself is the best icecream flavor I ever had. The last time I went the line was pretty long but, they worked through it super quickly.

One of my favorite ice cream place when I would catch a movie at the old local theater. Customer service is always great . The amount of flavors to choose from is ridiculous. I have not tried a flavor I didn't like. The Lavender Honey is my togo to buy since it's there 20th anniversary today, I got three flavors to go. At the moment I'm eating the Mango Thai Tea. It's so smooth and just melts in your mouth. The flavor is so delicious.

Delicious, creamy ice cream with lots of flavor. You get to try the flavors, but not that many cuz then you're gonna get the server's side eye. Slightly pricey.

A New Orleans classic! I am OBSESSED with any and all ice cream and Creole Creamery is one of my all-time favorite spots to get my ice cream fix. Some of my favorite flavors that they have are King Cake (only available during Mardi Gras season, Black & Gold, Red Velvet Cake, and Cookie Monster. If it's you're first time or you're in town visiting, I'd highly recommend getting a sampler to try various flavors because they're all so good. One of their staples is the Tchoupitoulas challenge, which is a huge bowl packed with scoops upon scoops of whatever flavors you choose and topped with tons of whipped cream, sprinkles, and cherries. It's the ultimate bowl of ice cream and is a fun thing to get if you're with a group of people.

I LOVE ice cream. I'm in New Orleans for a work trip and my waitress at dinner recommended this place when I mentioned I could go for some ice cream. I am so glad she did! The flavor selection is one of the best I have ever seen. I had a hard time choosing, but went with champagne violette. The flavor was delicious - not at all over whelming and the champagne gave it a lighter texture. I appreciate the ability to get a baby scoop as I had just had a big dinner. My only regret was the I didn't have enough room for a flight of flavors! This creamery is definitely worth the trip.
