    About the Business

Everything we do is made fresh to order when you come to our bar. In addition to our biscuits and buns being baked fresh daily, we source meats that are bred, raised, and fed the right way. That's why they taste better! We also pride ourselves in our partnership with local farmer's markets and Louisiana based vendors to help keep business in LA.  We offer seven rotating donuts every week, our catalog is now well over 100 options. We also love coffee. We think the best coffee comes from a small artisan production, and not a large-scale industrialized approach. That's why we roast our own beans through our own brand: Cool Kids Coffee Roasters. Check out our craft coffee.

BLUF: Great atmosphere, staff and original options for a meal or snack.

I got 3 sliders; cheese burger, fried chicken, and pork belly. All were great. I probably could have eaten a 4th. Really good and not as simple as they sound. I also go a black coffee which was good.

Wife got the duck slider which was the special and it was great too. She also got a sandwich/donut thing that was suprisingly good. I thought it was going to be too sweet but it wasnt. It was great (ham and havarti).

We got the fries with their homemade cheese sauce. I am a fan of sides; however, the fries were nothing special and the cheese sauce was not very cheesy or good. I would pass on both next time and just get an additional slider or dessert.

We got the special dessert which was a donut with chocolate peppermint ice cream inside. Hot outside, cold side, physics destroyed. It was great.

Place is overall great. Great helpful staff, cool hipster atmosphere. Great original food when you feel like something different. I'll be back.

Service was great. Person taking our order was patient and friendly. We are from San Diego and I like finding different spots to try when traveling. I found this spot through yelp.

      We ordered
      - iced mocha and iced Vietnamese coffee. Coffee was good.
      - had many choices of donuts. We tried the peanut butter chocolate donut. Loved the peanutty filling.
      - also got a scramble egg, cheese and bacon biscuit sandwich. It was good too. Bf liked how the egg was made in this sandwich.
      - added hash browns after our friends bought some and we tried it.

This place was great. We loved the food. Had the rest of our family and friends meet us here and they loved the food here too.

I've only been to District for breakfast a couple times, and I must say that I really enjoy this place as a great comfort food spot. The restaurant itself is cute and cozy, and the service is relatively quick to say you're getting REAL food. Today I had the scrambled egg, bacon and cheese biscuit with the smoked gouda grits. They accidentally gave me the turkey sausage gravy at first and that's what's pictured. I'm not a huge fan of sausage gravy, but it was pretty good so if you like sausage gravy, definitely worth a try. I swapped the gravy out for the smoked Gouda grits I ordered, and the texture was really smooth but I personally felt they were a little salty. The biscuit was absolutely delicious. The iced chai latte with oat milk was also good but a little more distinct in flavor than I'm normally used to - the chai spice is very strong just FYI.

Solid food spot in the city, and I'll be back to try a donut lol.

We were in town visiting and needed a quick bite for lunch, delivered. My wife had eaten here before and I said we should give it a try.

We ordered the rooster chicken sandwich and the 2 sliders combo. I asked for 1 cheeseburger and fried chicken slider but they messed up the order and gave me 2 cheeseburgers. I won't complain too much because they were pretty good along with the waffle cut fries. The rooster chicken sandwich had some good flavor notes, the jalapeños definitely added depth.

I was even more happy that the food was plenty warm. I didn't get the full experience by going to the location but I'd still go back and recommend this place

Holy moly, you MUST get the hot honey fried chicken french toast biscuit, $9. It's what dreams are made of. Perfectly fried chicken, a melted honey butter on a French toast biscuit. Wow, we split it and wished we got our own.

The donuts when I visited were more Easter themed, many of them with marshmallow filling. I went with the King cake donut. It was topped with pretty pink, yellow and purple sprinkles. I thought the fillings would just be vanilla but it had cardamom and cinnamon too. The filling was colored with a fun bright blue.

We were definitely impressed with the new edition of food items, when we visited years ago it was just donuts. You have to visit if you're in Nola, you won't regret it!!

The breakfast biscuit is comes with eggs and cheese, and it is very delicious. The biscuit is a bit crumbly, but I really enjoyed it. Would definitely order again.

I also ordered the beignet, which was filled with a toffee or something similar filling. I didn't really like it so I gave it to my friend.

I also like that it has plenty of seating. They have booths for customers to sit in and enjoy their dessert
      Or breakfast.

There's only street parking, so be ready to feed the meter!

      Updated review

We returned to this restaurant after discovering it last year. I loved it then and loved it this time. This is a casual place in a fairly small space where you order when you walk in and then go sit down and wait for your order to be called. We got a Kolache, Egg and Cheese Biscuit with Bacon, a Cinnamon Roll, Mochas, along with a selection of donuts to go.

The breakfast biscuit is so good - served straight from the grill, it's hot and savory. I normally only like cinnamon rolls with frosting but theirs has a sugar they heat up and caramelize, making a sweet but crunchy top that pairs nicely with the soft dough of the roll. We didn't like the Kolache so much. It seemed stale (hard) and wasn't as good as the biscuit sandwich. The mochas were just ok - nothing outstanding about them.

We sat at the counter facing the kitchen area and chatted for a few minutes with one of the cooks. She was really friendly. The woman who took our order was not as personable though. The food here is what brought us back and we will return again when we are in the area.

      The double cheeseburger was 3/5
The waffle fries and cheese were 2/5
      The cinnamon roll was 3/5
      The donut was 4/5

The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly.
The vibe was there but the food did not wow me.
These pastries are the star and I would like to try other flavors

Such a unique spot in Nola!

Loved the decor. But I was here for the donuts and dayummm . Excellent and inventive choices for you to choose from.
I'll definitely be back anytime in Nola.

Still thinking about the biscuit sandwiches we enjoyed this past weekend at District. Our group of eight took the cable car down to explore the garden district and had to check out this spot. So glad we did!
Our order was made quickly and efficiently by the friendly staff. We grabbed a couple tables and drank our coffee before we dove into the best breakfast sandwich ever. I ordered the egg, cheese, and bacon biscuit and the chicken and a biscuit. I can't even. The scrambled eggs were delicious- how do they do that? Perfectly cooked. My boyfriend said his chicken and biscuit was the best chicken sandwich he has ever had. Hands down. Spicy, crunchy, sweet. All the flavors all together.
Keep up the amazing work! We will be dreaming of these sandwiches forever!

District always has unique donuts - I think you'll get a greater variety and availability of donuts if you go in the morning, but we were able to try some awesome flavors in the afternoon too!
