If you love Steak and all of the great sides that are posable this is the place for you. Food could not be better. Atmosphere is perfect to have some fun or have a great date night. The service is over the top. The staff is so knowledgeable that your best bet is just sit down get a great drink and let the server do the driving. Took three of my best friend's, friends from out of town and just blew them away with this incredible place. Bravo to Dorris and its amazing staff. MUST TRY when you're in the French Quarter NOLA. Shout out the Chris and Melissa for leading such a great team.

Our experience at Doris Metropolitan was nothing short of exceptional. Celebrating my dad's 60th birthday here was truly memorable, thanks to the impeccable service and exquisite cuisine.

From the moment we arrived, Hung and the staff made us feel warmly welcomed and attended to every detail with grace and professionalism. Hung's attentive service added a personal touch that made the evening even more special.

As for the food, the steaks were absolutely divine - easily the best we have ever tasted. Each bite was a culinary delight, perfectly cooked to our preferences and bursting with flavor. The attention to quality and presentation was evident in every dish served.

Doris Metropolitan has been on my radar for quite some time, so mom and I stopped in for a drink at the bar. This Mediterranean inspired steakhouse is known for its high-quality meats, but you can also get premium seafood and high-end caviar service as well. The ambience is classy & elegant and you will receive a friendly welcome when you arrive.

We sat at the bar and the lovely Jaz took care of us. Two Grey Goose Martini's dry - one with Blue Cheese stuffed olives for me and regular olives for mom. We ordered the Truffle Fries to share, and Jaz asked if we wanted some bread. I was initially going to say no, but I'm so glad I said yes because the bread was amazing! There were three types - Jalapeno Cheddar, Onion, & Sesame Brioche. They were fresh & hot out of the oven and were served with three different butters and a tomato confit with olive oil & balsamic. Each one was delicious, and it was obvious that the bread is baked in house. The truffle fries were also very good, and our martinis were excellent.

Based on the exceptional service and the life changing bread platter, I will definitely come back for a sit-down meal here. I'll may even have to splurge on the caviar!

Happy Hour Tues - Thurs 5 - 6:30 pm

I did a ton of research so I could take my boyfriend to a special birthday dinner during our visit and, after much deliberation (NOLA is PACKED with amazing dining options!), I decided to make my reservation for Doris Metropolitan. And when I tell you that this was my favorite meal of our entire trip (maybe even so far this year?!) I am NOT playing around!

First off, the wine menu is EXTENSIVE. Luckily, they have an in-house somm. to help you decide. We ended up going with a bottle from a little town we visited in Bordeaux, St. Emilion. It was divine. For food, we started off with the beets and the cheese board, both of which were incredible. And the bread basket with the assorted butters was quickly devoured as well. For dinner, we went with the Butcher's Cut and the Tenderloin. The Butcher's Cut came with mushrooms and the Tenderloin came with bone marrow. The steaks were perfectly seasoned, perfectly tender, and perfectly cooked. It was like eating a dream.

On top of the food being incredible, our service was impeccable. Our server was so sweet and had the best sense of humor (not stuffy or uppity AT ALL). We truly enjoyed our time with her and if I'm ever back in New Orleans again (and I hope I will be) I will absolutely be coming back!

10 out of 10 AMAZING!!! We had a family style meat board for a group of 5 men and 1 women. It was MORE than enough food. The steak was perfectly cooked. Service was above and beyond. Cesar was our waiter and he took phenomenal care of us. We also had the beets, the scallops, and the prawns as an appetizer and each melted in your mouth.

The Doris is one of the best restaurants in New Orleans. Usually I go into detail. With this place however, just try it. You will not be disappointed.

This is perhaps the best steak I've had, and I've been to MANY steakhouses in my life that are all on "top 5" lists in their respective states.

You know we had a good meal; little over priced but definitely would come back.

Don't understand the dress code.... I was made to wear pants but they were serving men wearing shorts. So may be they don't enforce dress code

This is my second visit to Doris and the second fabulous time!

I like doing a fancy dinner at least once while in NOLA. We chose Doris again. I don't know how they manage to perfect every cocktail, but they are simply fantastic. I am not a bread person (health issues), but the glorious smell of the onion bread was too much even for me. And it was delicious.

The tomato salad is on point. My keto peeps will understand, that this is on point. The yolk combined with the light dressing makes this salad so luscious.

One of my favorite things is getting the marrow with the steak. I love the marrow so much, I usually order an extra. So good. Still dreaming of that.
