My favorite Mexican place for burritos in SF. Super burritos are filled to the brim with sour cream, guacamole, and delicious, tender meat--you can choose from a variety of meats, including carne asada and al pastor. The tender, fatty meats complement the acidic salsas they give you very well.

Service is no frills but fast--after ordering, you wait and they call out the number on the receipt you get. There's indoor seating and free water.

Ambiance is lively as it is in the Mission district; it's a very hole-in-the-wall vibe, which is perfect. Prices are very reasonable, and for $10 you get a burrito that is meatier and tastier than one you could get at Chipotle.

Cash only! Don't use the ATM in the restaurant--I've had a friend lose their debit card while trying to withdraw cash.

I've also been to the location in Oakland for their quesadillas, which were killer and a reasonable price as well.

      CASH ONLY.

      Classic Mission burrito spot
Emphasis on the NO FRILLS - this place is a hole in the wall, in the best possible way. I wouldn't change a thing.
HUGE burritos, made on the spot
Lots of seating - indoor and outdoor
Same-named bar next door, but must order food from the food side.
Right off the BART stop in Mission.
      CHEAP, DELICIOUS, MEMORABLE

This burrito was as big as my head, and I had no problem polishing the entire thing.

Classic spot in SF mission. Hole in the wall. Cash only. Generous portions and hits the spot every time.

There's plenty of seating at the back (outside) and a couple of tables in the restaurant itself.

I usually go for the tongue and intestines but you can't go wrong with any meat really.

Make sure you have a huge appetite before coming here! I got the carnitas burrito, which was huge and quite yummy. I liked that the burrito wasnt soggy despite the size. It tasted super fresh, too.

Tears to my eyes the most beautiful thing anyone wants to see when they order a burrito is that nicely cooked and roughly chopped asada inside. The green sauce is a must. The agua de horchata is yummy and the location is key for a great bite after a night out. The service was fast and amazing.

Came here with super high expectations because of the great reviews this spot has and the fact that it apparently has a following. I ordered the super burrito, which came with rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, cheese, and a choice of meat (I had carne asada). Overall, the burrito was enjoyable but honestly didn't meet my expectations. While the burrito was loaded, I wish that it was more flavorful and I feel like nothing about it really wowed me. For the price point though, I'd say it's a solid meal that will fill you up.

This restaurant was super busy when I came. People are here for the food and not the ambiance, because it's super casual and a little chaotic. Service was pretty friendly despite all the chaos though. Make sure you bring cash because they don't take card here.

Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this spot, but if you're already in the area wanting some Mexican food, this may be worth checking out.

Every single person I surveyed for a burrito recommendation said to come to this place, and it did not disappoint. Truly blown away by my steak burrito. No frills place, but the staff are kind and the seats are usable. You're there for the burritos though, most certainly. Burritos are huge- don't be afraid to save half for later.

I ordered the Super Burrito, this was $9.

Cheapest super burrito I've ever had! It wasn't the most delicious burrito BUT for $9 I can't complain. It came with avocado, refried beans, cheese, Al pastor meat, and sour cream (I'm not sure if it came with anything else haha). I'd definitely come back for a cheap meal but this won't be my go to spot.

Al Pastor burrito - 4/5 - $10 and it's delicious. Fair amount of meat and a decent size burrito. But I immediately became jealous when I saw my friends Enchiladas... The size portion there looked huge! The service was fine, the line can get a little long and the vibe of the place seems super busy. But if you want good and cheap eats in the mission this is def a spot to check out.
