    • Q:

Hi I am going in June 2023. Will the cemeteries be open for tours?

      A:

Hi Crystal, The Archdiocese blocked all tour companies from bringing guests into the cemeteries almost 3 years ago. Though we have all tried our best to negotiate with them and finally resorted to a legal battle, we are all still banned. I… more

    • Q:

Which tour includes the cemetery & are you allowed to walk inside?

      A:

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to access any of the cemeteries on our tours as the ones close to our routes are all closed for a variety of reasons. Sorry about that!

Robert was a fantastic guide on our New Orleans History and Voodoo tour. He knew the history and was very informative while being entertaining and showing us various French Quarter buildings and homes. Highly recommend!

I booked a walking tour through Groupon with French Quarter Phantoms. I'd already had them bookmarked on Yelp so I jumped on the deal. We arrived early and checked. We got a wristband and waited for our tour guide to arrive. Our group was about 20ish guests strong. I wish I could remember our tour guides name! I'll call and ask and update this review.

Our tour guide was awesome. He shared so much history about Louisana and New Orleans, so much that our history books don't teach us. He was very culturally sensitive, he shared his knowledge and disclosed he'd done his research and had spoken with experts as well as historians. Since the tour involved the history of the voodoo religion in New Orleans, he also shared his knowledge from actual voodoo practioners.

The walking tour was a little over 90 minutes long, so much wealth of information was shared during the tour. I'm truly grateful for this wonderful experience and for our tour guide. A walking tour is a definite must do activity if you're visiting New Orleans.

Not a must, but worth serious consideration. This won't make or break your trip, BUT, it was a fun activity and felt like something WE needed to do.

Our tour guide was full of personality, we enjoyed him, Coby Cancienne made the experience. We hit 4 different locations and got a fun/animated story behind each.

You'll see that all the tours basically hit the same spots, so truly just go with your gut on who to book with. That said, we enjoyed Coby.

No regrets, it was a fun investment of our time, if you're curious and enjoy creepy stories, do it!

Luke was an amazing tour guide that gave our group a tour on Sunday night. We had a large group of 20 people and he really took the time to deep dive into stories and give us the history of New Orleans. We really enjoyed ourselves and ended the tour at no other than Cafe Du Monte! Thank you to Luke for an amazing tour, we will definitely be back!

Excellent tour of the Garden District while vacationing in New Orleans. Found a Groupon deal for six people and easily made a reservation for a Monday morning tour. Our tour guide, Daniel, was fantastic. We walked all over the place, stopping to hear the history of the famous mansions and also learned about Commander's Palace and Lafayette Cemetery Number One. It was a beautiful day so it was even more enjoyable. We saw homes that belonged to John Goodman, Anne Rice, the Mannings, Sandra Bullock and Trent Reznor. Very interesting and beautiful homes. The trees and gardens are breathtaking. Daniel was engaging and eager to answer questions.

Last night, we did the 8pm Ghost + Vampire tour. Enjoyed the tour and guide even with some rain. The tour ended at LaLaurie Mansion and while there the heaviest of rain was hitting. After our guide was done, he then gave a spiel about gratuities. One family asked him how we get back to the lounge where we parked and were told "just go up about 4 blocks, and then left about 4 blocks." One would have thought that the tour concluded back where it started, guess not. Most of us walked back on our own. Good thing our phone have gps.

Erin gave an amazing Saints and Sinners tour! She was genuine, knew her audience, and really knew her info. We had a group of 4, and everyone really enjoyed it. We also went on a ghost tour the night before, but this was our favorite.

This tour was not good there was not enough history and our tour guide even seemed confused at times. I've done multiple ghost, vampire, paranormal tours in this city and by far this is the worst. It was 2 hours of a girl trying to be cute while doing her best to make up stories while stumbling her words. Complete waste of money.

#askforwolfy OK, so I'm a little late in getting the review up online, but I have a friend going to NOLA and looking forward to this tour in a couple of weeks, so now I'm compelled to write about my amazing experience with FQPhantoms. We went in July--and man was it HOT--but we took old-school oriental fans and water bottles with battery powered fans combos, and it was very bearable! The bar break helped, too!

Our tour guide, Wolfy, was The Best! If I could give him 10 stars, I would! He really knew his stuff, and confidently answered questions surrounding the topics, and some random questions, too. It was obvious that he was very much into New Orleans, its history and culture, and was an expert at keeping our crowd enthralled from start to finish! I hope go on a tour with him every single time I'm back in The Big Easy, because he is a lifelong learner, and will surely have more to share next time. He was very organized and we had no trouble hearing him.

Just a warning though, it's all fun and games until the end, and the stories about slaves and a little girl at last stop really brought tears to my eyes. The whole experience was educational, entertaining, and moving, and what a great guy Wolfy is!
