Excellent! Everything is so good, especially the shrimp and grits. We started with the chicken liver pate, and had a little bite of each others plates. You won't go wrong with ordering any of the entrees. Chef Dwayne is on spot with his explanation of the menu items, while he cooks up some good 'ole food. Again, stop in and enjoy!

This place is super cute! There are unique art items all over the walls but my favorite aspects were the original (seemingly) floors and ceilings. Beautiful!

The day that we were here they had just had their oven repaired so there were a number of menu items. Hearing this, I felt a little nervous that the menu would be limited. I had no reason to be nervous though!

Our server gave us some recommendations and they were spot on! My husband had the pulled pork hash which was amazing! We all ended up eating some of that due to the size and flavor. The kids shared the French toast and completely cleaned their plates! I had the turkey sandwich with a side salad and it was so good.

Drinks- the Bloody Mary was probably the best we had in town. I had a cocktail that was blueberry cinnamon ginger something. I wish I could remember because it was yummy!

It felt like this was a place that had a group of regulars hanging out but they did not make us feel out of place. It was welcoming and delicious!

One of our favorite restaurants of our entire trip.

We walked past Frenchmen all day while staying in the area. The menu online looked good so we decided to pop in and give it a try. When we sat down we were the only table in the place, about 10 on a Saturday morning. The waiter greeted us and was super friendly. I got a dirty iced chai latte- it was just okay, not much chai flavor and the espresso didn't seem strong enough to me. We were then ready to order and were told the oven wasn't working so the menu was limited- that's okay, we made it work. The French toast special was really good, fresh berries and a sauce of some sort. I got the ham egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant- so so good.

The dining room seemed to be run by a one man show- props to him! As we were sitting the place filled up! Every table and he was killing it! I wish I got his name.

All together- enjoyable brunch. I'd love to go back when the oven is up and running!

My wife and I were casually hanging out in the Frenchman area and walked by this establishment. We noticed an older couple exiting and saw us checking out the menu posted outdoor. They quickly recommended we get a table to to dine as they said this was one of the best local restaurants in the area.

The restaurant is small but like most places in NO, they know how to maximize their space and serve as many customers as they can. You could tell this was a place locals frequented, which is always a good sign.

The food was simply amazing! I ordered the shrimp and grits with a cocktail - all of which were very good! The grits were cooked perfectly and contained a good amount of plump and juicy shrimp.

Met the chef who was super nice and amazing Black man named Dwayne. He greeted every customer and made sure everyone was satisfied with their meal.

This is definitely a place for locals, and it didn't disappoint. Our server Kaykay was super sweet

I loved this unassuming restaurant on the famous Frenchman Street. The vibe is casual and laid back. Service was friendly and attentive. I had the muffuletta salad which was so delicious that I didn't even miss the sesame loaf bread. Also shared the carafe of champagne which came with 4 different juices to jazz (wink) it up.

The food was great, the service was amazing. We went early Thursday morning and were the only ones there. I ordered the crawfish hash, and they said unfortunately they were out of crawfish. So I ordered the American breakfast which was really good. After we finished our meals the brought out the crawfish hash and apologized saying they had enough to make a crawfish hash and gave it to us for free.

      1000/10

This place is definitely for locals and the vibe was so cute! The staff here are super nice and the decor here was wonderful. I absolutely loved the food, the dishes were perfect and packed with flavor.

My favorite which wasn't posted is the bananas foster! BEST thing I've ever eaten in my life. It had the perfect amount of sweetness without being too sweet.

      Highly recommend!

      The food was delicious.

We ordered several things to start the Shrimp and Tasso Pasta, and the BBQ Shrimp. Omg they were both delicious. I could probably have licked the pasta sauce from the bowl.

We were in the waitstaff change over, and I don't get the sense that people ask for their names because both waiters seemed hesitant to say their names.

We then met the Chef Dwayne Richard's, he is a friendly bright spot, and we asked him to choose for us what he thought we needed to eat, and he brought us the Crayfish Hash and the Gumbo. Neither disappointed.

The drinks were tasty, my friend had the Baby Come Back and I had the Rabble Rouser Coffee Martini X more than 2... just saying, super tasty.

We all agreed that we would come back... daily.

Went for breakfast. I love the restaurant/decor. The food was amazing and the staff were friendly and attentive. I will say the customer service here is A+. I got the eggs Benedict and it came with a delicious salad with a vinaigrette. The coffee was really good! It was a lovely place to go for a quiet, delicious breakfast.

Stumbled across this hidden gem while looking for a brunch spot to enjoy before heading out onto bourbon street. This was about an 8-minute walk from where we were staying in the quarter. Nestled on the corner of Frenchman street is this small quaint cafe with tons of cool photos on the wall. Service was a little slow, but our server was great! He suggested the shrimp and grits for me which were FANTASTIC! Perfect sized shrimp (and they weren't stingy with the portion size) amazing andouille sausage and some of the creamiest grits I've ever had. Enjoyed a carafe of mimosa and the juice was so fresh. The dish was a 5/5 my mother had the muffuletta salad and a side of lox and she enjoyed it very much...so much that before we headed back home the next day we came back here lol she ordered the same exact thing and I got the chicken salad and I have to say it's the BEST chicken salad I've ever had, I didn't have to add any salt and pepper I wish I could have the recipe!

Great spot. Wonderful personalities working the restaurant. Food was prompt. Drinks were the perfect brunch time treat. And the overall vibe was local, authentic with a bit of quirky mixed in. Really fun. Oh and the food itself did not disappoint.

Downside - the booths are about as uncomfortable as they come. I think maybe this is by design to keep the tables turning? But after a couple mid morning libations, admittedly, it stopped bothering me!
