This is my go to shop whenever I want to get candles, fragrances, and better my spiritual self. The service is IMMACULATE. You feel at home when you walk in and you just can feel the good energy in this location. The value of this business is very nice as well. The prices are fair and overall everything is a 10/10.

This shop is one of my favorite places I've been in New Orleans, not to mention the world. They have an adorable shop cat, free coffee while you browse and a knowledgeable, friendly staff.

There's a wall of fixed candles for any type of work you want to do made by the owner. I've been satisfied with every one I've bought. Also, more affordable but no less powerful are the two-toned candles by the register that I swear by.

I wouldn't come here looking for stones like in other metaphysical shops. There's some amazing pyrite I buy every time, but everything else is a different type of object to work with. I have magic dice, an alligator claw, cowry shells, hoodoo powder and more. And don't think it stops there! My favorite product may have to be the coffee scrub made for my face that feels like a blessing every time I put it on. Be sure to check out the mango butter too.

My first time in New Orleans & Haus of Hoodoo was one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had. With the history of voodoo in New Orleans, I made it a mission to find a Black Owned location. After doing some research on Google, I found Haus of Hoodoo, which was not far from our hotel.

The Parking: There's parking directly outside of the location. We went on a weekend around a time when parking was free; however, there is a pay to park machine.

The Service: Amazing! Everyone was so polite & extremely helpful. The staff were knowledgeable on the products and how to use them. They also explained the differences and similarities between voodoo & hoodoo.

The Store: I was literally like a kid in a candy store. I wanted to buy everything. It was amazing seeing so much that could help me and my loved ones reach the next level of clarification. The cats were also the added plus. They were such sweet cats and made it that much more pleasant being there. This store was so great, I came back again; twice in one day. For things like oils, sprays, or candles, they give you instructions on how to properly use them. They even offer a YouTube with different "How-To's".

Overall, I love this store! I plan to also order online. Follow them on Instagram. The owners are super cool.

This place is the real deal folks! I've gotten two candles on their website, followed her written instructions to the letter for the first one, and intuited a bit on the second. Both times the candles worked shockingly well! 10-for-10 would highly recommend!!!

When visiting Nola check this botánica out. Even if your not into the holistic, spiritual etc. stop by and experience the energy in This inviting space. The store is decorated so lovely and has a beautiful
Vibe. The staff where so kind and inviting. While I was there I had to take some photos of there store to capture how great this place is. From candles, leather crafted journals, tarot cards to oils to bless your self or sacred spaces. Truly an amazing spot!

Came here when I visited Nola to buy some supplies and I really wanted to experience a Hoodoo shop. Manbo Jessyka was very sweet and answered any questions I had. The inside is absolutely beautiful and it's located right off a Main Street so it was very easy to find. Would highly recommend stopping by here if you're in the area :)

I was recommended to The Haus of Hoodoo by my acupuncturist. What a hidden gem?! This cute shop has a wide variety of ritual candles, incense, apothecary, and sage. I can't believe there isn't more buzz about this place. Once you enter the space it's definitely a different type of position and calming energy. There are a few shrines and alters on display. And lots and lots of products to choose from. The helpful and knowledgeable team assist with product education and recommendations. This is not your grab and dash shop, it's an actual shopping experience. I've already been here three times this month for energy correctors, ritual candles, gifts for friends and more importantly knowledge. There's an online store as well! I will definitely be back.

Beautiful outside and inside! Both ladies were very kind as my family and I browsed around. I didn't feel rushed and my questions were welcomed. Amazing atmosphere! Bought a candle and bath. Very pleased with my time here - I highly recommend anybody visiting to visit Haus Of Hoodoo!
