Love this hair salon. Went for the first time today and Helen was just lovely! She took the time to find out exactly how I wanted my hair cut and explained each step as she was doing it.

She was helpful with tips for my hair care and was friendly but not overly chatty.

Will be a regular for sure!

Great place for a trim! Helen was very knowledgable about my hair type and what would look best when framing my face. She explained to me very clearly what she was going to do before cutting my hair. She was also super quick and efficient. Will definitely be coming back :)

Great haircuts at good prices with minimal chitter chatter. I like it. These are more characters to fill up the 85 character minimum.

Been coming to Helen for all my cuts since 2021 and studios were allowed to reopen. She's awesome -- easy to book an appointment with, good technique, amazing prices for the Bay Area for the quality of cut, and fast. I'm usually in/out of her studio within 15-20 minutes max. She always is able to cut to whatever style I'm looking for, based on the photos I show her, and also has really good pricing for doing a balayage (~$100 and only took 1hr - 90min for the whole thing). She is cash only, FYI.

One side was significantly and noticeably shorter than the other by maybe 1 inch. You get what you pay for though- women's haircuts are only 25 dollars.

I love this place. She is literally such a nice and funny person. She really does care about how satisfied a customer is which is so important!! I got a color removal and color in 3 hours but conversing with her made time go by a lot faster. Highly recommend she's the best!

This is still the place I will continue going to get my hair cut or dyed. Helen is very attentive to details. She listens to what you want to have done. The price is very reasonable, cash only. I was in and out in 20mins for a haircut and my hair was long.

It does get busy since she's the only one there so be patient, if you call and get voice mail, either leave a message and she will call back later or call again later. It's worth it.

I've only been here twice, but my haircuts came out exactly the way I wanted. Prices are pretty good too.

One of the best haircuts I've ever gotten! I was due for a haircut and found this salon on Yelp. I was able to schedule over the phone for the same day (a Friday afternoon). I had to wait a little bit for the previous appointment to be done, but it wasn't a problem. I was lucky to get a slot since the salon was fully booked that day!

I showed the stylist some pictures of what I wanted, and she was attentive and asked clarifying questions to make sure the details were right. My hair had gotten really long, and I wanted some lighter layers and curtain bangs, while maintaining some length - she gave me exactly that! Not to mention, this was one of the best priced haircuts I'd found at a well-reviewed salon.

I love it a lot and will definitely be coming back! You won't regret checking this salon out!

Love how Mona is so knowledgeable and trustworthy when it comes to hair! Told her exactly what I wanted and she delivered. She was quick and efficient. Didn't cut more than I wanted and she gave me exactly what I asked for. She such a sweet hair stylist!

Luckily was able to get a last-minute appointment due to a cancellation the same day last week. I got a wash, shampoo, and cut. The total came out to be $45.

Bring a photo of your desired hairstyle if you can for reference! She was very efficient and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. She also taught me how to style and shape my curtain bangs so they fell how they did in the photo I brought.

I really enjoy my haircut so far and will definitely come back again when I need another.
