I just came back again to 123 Auto Service for after a long time. Since I don't live and work in San Francisco, it was a bit too complicated to bring my car for a service in the city.

However, after receiving an expensive quote from Mini service at Concord for a maintenance, I decided to bring back my car here. Man, I am so glad I did. Mini @ Concord quoted me many things to be fixed. Yet, they did not even tell me that the oil is running super low.

Stephen turned everything into the right direction. It turned out that the car does not require too many things. He told me also that the oil is running really low, and that Mini requires regular oil addition due to mechanical issues.

I had been driving by this place every day in my Mini Cooper and saw other Minis being worked on in there. My windshield wipers had stopped working. I went to BMW to get a diagnosis which cost a lot. Then they found that the engine mounts were failing. I had been to BMW before and they charged me an arm and a leg to change the battery. So I knew this was going to be really expensive. I called K&C Auto and got a quick response. I set up the appointment within the week. Work was done as promised and for a fraction of the price.

My center instrument light went out and K&C said it was not with it to fix because of the price and it had no purpose other than to light up. I was thankful he was very honest. I will not take my Mini anywhere else from now on. I was afraid of being ripped off because I'm a woman but Steve is very trustworthy.

Steven at K and C has been my go-to mechanic for the last few years. Everything from simple battery replacement to more complex repairs has been a piece of cake. He gets parts quickly if not in stock and communicates with you about the updates with your repair. He recently solved and repaired a defect with my lexus (shame on you, lexus factory !) in no time at all. I forgot who referred me to Steven but now I refer everybody reading this review.

Great service. Friendly staff, and the prices weren't bad either. I will come back here for my next service or car issue.

He was excellent at getting all my request checked out and was very thorough! If there are any pre-damages to the car, he sends pictures of them to your phone as a heads up. He went above and beyond and helped me fill my brake fuels as well even though that wasn't one of my initial requests! Highly recommend

Steven and his mechanics have serviced and kept my old 2006 Subaru Outback running in tip top shape. I have been going to KC Auto for over 12 years, maybe longer. He is honest, thorough and has integrity. If you are a single woman such as myself, you can trust Steven; he will tell you straight what is going on with your car, and not gouge you for extra dollars. He is an expert trained Subaru mechanic and will order you genuine Subaru parts. I think he services other foreign brands also, VW or Volvo; ask him. I just got a new car; so I won't be seeing him for a while but I wouldn't hesitate, if I needed to. This is what I found out; certain Subaru service departments were reluctant to service my old car because it was too much trouble to figure out what was the issue. Not KC Auto, they go the extra mile. Thank you, Steven, for the years of outstanding service!

Been taking my m4 here for a number of years. Steven always does a great job and is fast in terms of response time.

The guys are straight forward and tell you what needs to be done and what can wait. My 2006 was having problems starting and they did what they could to fix the problem. Fair prices compared to the dealer and several other garages with similar services. I would go back.

I've been to a lot of mechanics in a 5+ cities with as many different cars. Out of all of them, K&C is far and away the best.

Drop off your car and a short while later, the owner will call with a full rundown of each and every issue, its exact impact on the function of the vehicle, exactly which issues need to be fixed vs. what you can get away with not fixing, and the pricing for each potential repair. And that pricing is better than just about anything you have any right to expect in SF. They have never tried to sell me on a single repair, just given a factual run down and let me make my own decisions. I trust them more than my own mother at this point.

I brought my car in for service last March, and they did a great job, provided clear explanations of their work along with recommendations for other fixes needed on my very old car, and sent videos of each item recommended. The price was very fair!

I had an old Subaru with many issues and Steven was able to help me prioritize and fix urgent needs in a very timely manner and fair price. Communication was very timely and clear. It's very nice to have a auto service place that takes time to really help you during a time of need and really take care to do their best. Will definitely go back with future issues with my Subaru.
