This dry cleaning/gift store is on the border of North Beach and Chinatown district. I needed to get two pairs of business slacks hemmed.

The lady owner, Karen, I believe, was her name, got going with fitting, measurements, she's very skillful and knew what she was doing. While there, picked up a few kiddie toy cars and stickers for my children.

When I picked up my pants, she recognized me, greeted me warmly, and remembered my name. She's highly likable and funny. I was very pleased with the alterations and appreciate the service she provided.

Loved Karen so much! She was very polite and hospitable. Made us feel really welcome. The merchandise itself was really cool too. Nostalgic of 90s-00s memorabilia and hard to find elsewhere so it was really awesome seeing things I haven't been able to play with since childhood. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Highly recommend Karen at KO company for alterations and dry cleaning! She's brought a stained jacket back to life, and fixed ill-fitting pants to fit like a dream. PLUS she's an absolute delight and I love chatting when I stop by.

I don't utilize dry cleaning services that often, but when I do, I only go to Karen's shop. Karen is the coolest and nicest person you will meet and I completely trust her judgement on whatever I'm dropping off. Above all else, I truly believe she cares about every single customer that walks through those doors. For example, she remembers my name and ensures I am good to go before helping another customer. That simply is amazing and heartwarming. Do not hesitate, this is the place to go!

Oh Karen is amazing. She can do it all. I would trust her with my life. She is the best - super friendly and fast. I love her and send all my people to her.

I have actually been coming here since the mid 1990's to have sleeves of my jackets shortened. I just dropped off a couple of new jackets today. Karen does excellent work. I really appreciate how big and private the dressing room is. I love this shop because it is conveniently located in my neighborhood. They also sell some really cool toy cars, stuffed animals and action figures!

I've been coming for years for alterations and repairs. Mrs. Ko and her husband do a great job every time. She tell you what they're going to do along with a price and a pick-up date, and they deliver like clockwork. Very warm, friendly service too.

This charming seamstress and laundry service has a substantial storefront with plush stuffed animals and puppets.
It's a fun and happy place in the exciting and fun North Beach neighborhood.
Do something different and pop in Ko Company after an Italian lunch or slice of pizza, and buy yourself a darling fox with a bushy tail, or a Horned Puffin if you're so inclined.
Buy it for a special child, or for yourself. I did, and it made me very happy.

Karen remembers names, previous alterations she (and husband Kim) has done. She is gracious, funny, and always straightforward about what can and cannot be accomplished with alteration and cleaning requests. The best...
And she has a great collection of reasonably priced upscale stuffed animals and trending toys.

This was my first time getting anything altered and Karen didn't disappoint! She is so sweet and gracious and as others have said remember exactly who you are and what she's done for you. I didn't ask for anything too complicated, but have no doubts that she'd be able to take on any task, large or small.
