Super friendly and accommodating staff and servers. Food is not something I would come back for, however. This is a great place for a big group to come and hangout. I would only return if there was an event there with friends, not for the food.

71260394May 30, 2023Great cheeseburger and baked potato. Also tried the fried pickles and they were delicious- lightly breaded and with a nice dipping sauce.
The burger is huge and it's cooked to perfection. Added bacon and cheddar. It's a good 1/2 pound, so you'll leave full.
Atmosphere is good, very casual. If you're looking for a great burger, add this to your just visit places.

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars. I went with my family and had my support animal with me. It is a bengal cat - very smart cat with proper tags. I walked in, sat down, no problems. My support cat sat on my lap, quiet and content. We were both happy. Then a woman came over with the waitress, never identified herself and asked me over and over it my cat was a support animal and had proper identity. I kept telling her yes, she has her tags. I showed them to her. She then told me to put the cat in her carrier. I was upset and did what she said. I have my support animal for stress and anxiety which leads to migraines. I got so stressed I had to leave. I will never go there again.

Don't bother with this place.
Pricing / food quality/ just forget it.

We came for my husbands birthday but have been before and they're consistently good. Burgers cooked nicely with fresh meat, good apps and service. My husband got a burger that was a special and said it was different but really good. I got a regular cheese burger, delicious! Comes with a huge baked potato, you can load it. It's about $21 for a cheeseburger and a loaded baked potato which is steep but you're on the lake it's to be expected. We got an order of fried mushroom, it was only a half order but you got a lot for $6.50. The wings are good, but the buffalo sauce is what pulls it together for me. My son got fried shrimp and it was a nice amount and they were good I tried one. Our server Bailey was really sweet and helpful. Overall a great place. They also have a bar attached that looked really fun!

Everything was SO good, the wings were huge and the sauce was unbelievable! So I went in for dinner. Out waitress was so nice and so helpful! I don't remember her name but she was so sweet. We got burgers, wings and a kids catfish. Everything was good! The burgers were cooked exactly as asked, potatoes were soft, moist and well topped, catfish had a good flavor and breading and the wings were good but smaller than the ones I previously had. The hot sauce they get isn't spicy but the flavor is out of this world, a must try! We waited like 10 minutes on a Friday at dinner time which is not bad.

Lakeview Harbor's food is good. Ordered spinach dip to start - it was nothing special and it came with chips that were probably Tostitos. But it tasted good!
I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It comes on toast with chicken, bacon, cheese, and peppercorn ranch. The sandwich was tasty and I enjoyed it! The sandwich comes with a baked potato. I asked to get it with tater tots and the waitress said "of course". However, when I got my bill, I realized that I was charged $2.25 for tater tot's. (I may have still gotten them, but being told would have been nice).
On the bill, I also noticed that the soft drinks were $4 each. For three people to eat, the bill was $95, not including tip. I like Lakeview Harbor and it is a staple for burgers and drinks, but the prices are high and the extra charges are excessive. Matthew S.Baton Rouge, LA62827Oct 24, 2023It's filled properly fried chicken and a good Caesar dressing. If you're looking for a light meal to share, this would work. The beans are amazing. They got plenty of meat and just enough heat to make you want some more. In the top ten beans I've had. The service has been great for a weekday. The weekends it can get kinda crowded, but the staff is great. It's got that dive bar feeling kinda like port-o-call, so don't expect a quiet environment--but don't fret--The food is great. Deff worth coming by.

It took 15mins just to get a hostess to help and put us in the list. Then, we was sat down and it took another 20mins for a server to come take our drink order. After that we sat another hour and still no food so we laid for the drinks and left. Came back the next day to

We came in and the hostess didn't greet us, I said maybe she's having a bad day, we all have them sometimes. So after we watched the hostess greet others with a big smile & sit many people down that came after us, we finally get to our table 30 minutes later. We sat there for like 15 minutes before we even knew who our waiter was. He's finally walks up & started taking our order. We sat there so long we knew everything we wasted but he insisted that he just take our drink orders then he'll come back for the food. Ok so we told him what we wanted to drink and it take 20mins just for drinks. During this time other guests were walking in, being seated, and having drinks come to their table before our drinks came. So we placed our food order and to our surprise ppl that walked in behind us was getting their food, we haven't received appetizers yet.this went on for over an hour and we still haven't received our food so we canceled the order, and was leaving. The waiter said our order wasn't being prepared yet so it was ok. We paid for the drink which should've been free after wasting over 2hrs of our time. I will NEVER go back to that there again, or recommend it to a dog. Speaking of dog, they allow dogs in the restaurant as if dogs don't shed or as if some people isn't allergic to dogs. I would say do better, but I'm sure this isn't their 1st time treating paying customers like their money don't matter.
