Loro - remains to be a South Austin Favorite! It's been a while since I last visited - so delighted that the food, ambiance and service are as enjoyable as ever.

Parking: Lots of parking spots around the restaurant. The lot goes all the way back, so just keep driving around until you find a spot.

Ambiance: Plenty of al fresco tables, perfect for a breezy summer evening. The shades and lights create a great vibe, making it an ideal spot to hang out with friends.

Food & Drinks: Delicious frozen cocktails and other adult beverages. The chicken karaage is as tasty as ever, and my new favorite is the chocolate crème brûlée--so creamy and chocolatey, it's a must-try!

Service: Top-notch service. Even with a huge table by the entrance on a bustling Saturday evening, everything was smooth and efficient.

Dog-Friendliness: Definitely dog-friendly! Loro is a great place to bring your fur friend along for a relaxed meal outdoors.

Loro seamlessly blends Asian smokehouse flair with Texas barbecue, creating an unassuming dining experience. Off in a rustic spot in S Lamar, with both indoor and outdoor seating, Loro offers a perfect setting to enjoy great food and drinks.

On my visits, I've indulged in the smoked beef brisket, curry marinated shrimp bowl, Texas Sweet Corn and Chicken Karaage. Each dish was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, truly highlighting the best of both culinary worlds.

The frozen mango sake slushee was a refreshing treat, and I loved that they offer a flight to try any three flavors from their impressive frozen menu.

One of my favorite things about the location is the ample seating, making it easy to find a spot whether you're dining solo or with a group. The counter service and full bar add to the relaxed yet vibrant vibe. While it can get packed, especially during peak times, coming during the week when it's less busy is a great way to enjoy the space more comfortably.

The service was fine, nothing extraordinary but efficient enough to keep the experience smooth. And a bonus - they deliver, so you can enjoy their consistent, flavorful food right at home.

This is a gourmet restaurant with small portion dedicated food. We meet a friend here. The place is very popular. We were lucky to have a seat at air conditioner room. The order start at the counter. There are 6 to 8 counter that you can order.

We start with crunchy sweet corn fritters. This fritters is habanero corn in it. Very crunchy. The butchers cut is good tender beef cut with soft meat and lovely. Both dishes are good. We like it.

The price is not cheap. Fortunately it has good taste.

Loro is a great blend of Asian BBQ fusion. The menu is so interesting and inviting that is was hard to choose what to get. I went with the brisket rice bowl and was very happy with it.

The food is all pretty much incredible and the service is good, but they got that whole thing where you order food at the bar and they bring it to you. I get it and sometimes that's nice. It is what it is.

The vibe in the dinning room is cool. The place is great for groups or you can go solo just as easy. The outside patio is monstrous and even on a hot day they have great shade and cooling fans.

Will go again, maybe an enough times to try it all.

Después probé el Slushes flight y déjenme decirles que estaban deliciosos de acuerdo a este clima para que te refresques . Claro debes de tener la edad adecuada .

The food here is amazing!

I've been wanting to try this local Austin staple for a while now . And it blew all my expectations out of the water. The ribs were very juicy, tender, and the glaze that was placed on it was very sweet and savory (Ribs are only available on Sundays and Mondays). The smoked salmon bowl had a lot of sweet and very salty flavors and was very creative.

The service is excellent, you can go up to the bar and order and the food comes out at a reasonable time.

The TX and Asian smokehouse fusion this restaurant has is very eye-catching, the food speaks for itself.

Ambiance is very rustic and chill, for a Sunday afternoon it was very packed and very easy to get a table.

I will eat here again.

Loro was recommended as a go to in the area and it did not disappoint. The menu has something for everyone and every bite was delicious. I had a chance to sample the crispy chicken sandwich (my fav) l, Loro burger, brisket tostada, and noodle salad. Each one always a hit. The happy hour drinks are a great value and the service was very efficient. Plenty of seating indoors and out. I highly recommend this for lunch with friends and family.

Loro is one of my go-to's! It's an Asian barbecue fusion restaurant with an old Austin feel. Perfect for a date night or with a group of friends.

Food: I've loved everything I've ever gotten at Loro but my favorites are the brisket and the corn fritters for sure.

Drinks: The frozen drinks are what I usually get, you can't go wrong with any of them. They also have an outside bar with a limited menu that you can take advantage of during your wait if you have one.

Service: It's good but you order at the counter so it's not a full waiter/waitress experience.

Parking: There's a lot with additional parking towards the back. It might be tough to find a spot if you go during their busy hours.

Plenty of free parking but can get packed during busy times. We haven't had to wait longer than 20 minutes to get seated during those times and there's cozy outdoor seating/bar while you wait for your table. Great place for bringing guests from out of town; they offer consistently delicious quality menu items. The cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, and shrimp bowls are phenomenal. The wonton chips/dip are a must for an appetizer & good for group of 4-ish people. We've also enjoyed their signature slushie cocktails like the mango, and if you're looking for a non-alcoholic slushie option, the piña horchata.
