Haven't ate here but during Monday nights it's few spots close that's open the bar has an outdoor area which is needed cuz it can get crowded inside as far as service the bartenders were OK and the bouncers I guess/security cool

I will go again. It's a cool spot, possibly to take friends for a adventure ‍

Cute bar, dimly lit inside, covered in art (rotating exhibits listed on their website). Was fairly empty on a Sunday early evening, and service was fast and friendly. We got the
Operation Witchcraft, with a licoricey taste and just a hint of absinthe, and the Herbie Hancock, a delightful and refreshing cocktail which delivered on the watermelon flavor. I would definitely return just for this, but they have a good amount of other tasty-looking drinks on the menu as well. I'll also be back to experience live music here. Cool spot.

Here for friend's birthday party on the venue's Motown Monday. We all had a blast. Friendly and efficient bartenders that make delicious drinks. Great DJs that led a fun atmosphere. The dance floor was packed. Especially love the diversity of the crowds. Highly recommend!

Too nice a night to stay home & stare at Netflix- time for a stroll down Divisadero, without a clue where we're going. Passing the corner of Fell & Divisadero we heard some Slavic style live music and the stars aligned. Got the last table, perfect view of the band & some guy having his own personal dance party. The bartenders are super friendly. The crowd was really diverse age wise, 20 somethings crowded around the bar- the grey hairs digging the music. There's a vintage half circle upholstered sofa in the corner that looked like someone's satellite living room. Three little dogs, people coming & going, their own personal Cheers.
Madrone takes the dive bar concept to another level. It's arty, funky, and wouldn't scare off your sister from Indiana.
An evening like this, falling into Madrones, is another reason why I love San Francisco- serendipity around every corner.

Love coming here for a good DJ sesh! Make sure to leave your jacket at home though! It gets nice and close , sweaty and a big ole dance party. I love bars that have more than the Golden State Dry Cider. Schilling was featured with their mango and I loved it!

Quick bar service, spacious dance floor. I went on a Friday night and the DJ played hip hop, RnB + old ish school jams l. Will definitely be going back!

No cover charge when I arrived at 9:30.
The drinks were watered down but the music and crowd was hot.
Music from 80-90s;
Folks were mixed aged from 20-50s.
Had a great time dancing on the small floor.

My bf and I ended up stopping here on accident. We had plans to hit 2 other spots but parked right outside this bar and stopped in for a drink and never left.

They have live music so often they have a calendar posted with all their different events. It's a dive bar with bartenders that are actually nice to you. I've only tried a couple of the cocktails they have on the wall, but if that's not your thing they'll make your requested drink since they have a full bar and they also offer beer!

The music is so good every time I've gone. By 9:30 there's a line to get in, they usually have a cover. The drinks are fair priced and they have an outdoor area as well. Inside gets super hot when it gets packed later in the night.

If you're feeling hungry you can order food to the bar, just make sure you have a stamp so you can get back in.

Check out the calendar, they have music for everyone. If you're not into a dark, crowded room just go a little earlier.
