The food was hot, tasty and delivered by an outgoing and knowledgeable wait person. She was charming and gave us ample warning for the kick of the horseradish accompanying our raw oysters. The Cajun gumbo was delicious as well as the jambalaya. Fried green tomatoes were the bomb!

Food was good but the best part of the night was the young man running the front of the house. This guy never stopped moving. He will go a long way in life. Keep up the good work young man. I believe his name is Trayvon. I'm sure I butchered the spelling.

We wanted to try a different place. We had just eaten brunch that morning but it was late and we were hungry. I know its a chain. I see it has mixed reviews, but this place turned out great.
No line. Got right in and was seated.
Small place and a bit noisy. A couple TVs were up for sports.
I got the fried shrimp and catfish. It was the best I had all week. Excellent. Fresh. Tasted great. A side of red beans and rice was perfect. Oh yeah, and another dozen oysters. They were excellent too. I enjoyed the cocktail sauce at Acme a little better, but I only eat sauce on a couple The prefer raw oysters with Tabasco and nothing else.
Good place. Give it a try.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 6, 20241 check-in
Cute and quaint spot. Came here for dinner. Very casual atmosphere. We were seated immediately and I have to say the service was WONDERFUL. It was busy, but all of the servers were super friendly and made sure our drinks and food came out timely. The food was good too. I got the charbroiled oysters (appetizer) and a Bienville Street Tea to drink. The drink was so good and so smooth. The oysters were delicious. I don't eat oysters unless I'm in New Orleans and they did not disappoint. I ordered the shrimp po boy for dinner. It was ok, but not my favorite. All in all, if you're ever down in New Orleans, check them out!

I had the charbroiled oysters and a crab cake. The food was incredibly rich (however I feel so much of the food in New Orleans is). It was ok. The server was friendly but he was not the most attentive. He disappeared for longer stretches of time, maybe he had tables upstairs and downstairs? I don't know. There were several times throughout the meal we were just waiting on things or our meal came out before the appetizer. Ultimately, it was ok.

I was stuffed so I didn't get to try the desserts, but this is a solid spot. Good service, great food - I have no complaints!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 21, 20241 check-in
I came here earlier in July while in New Orleans for Essence fest. My sister loves charbroiled oysters in Louisiana so that's what she got. She really enjoyed them. I love a good crab cake so I got the appetizer since I wasn't hungry enough for a full meal. I also got sautéed veggies because I needed some fiber and balance after eating all the gumbo, étouffée, etc... my sister's friend got a shrimp po boy, but was frustrated about the bread being toasted lol. The servers were great though. They were very friendly and super helpful in recommending other places to try while we're there.

Looking for something to eat in the area and decided on this spot because my boo's favorite ever is oysters . It's a pretty small place where we sat, there is stairs but not sure if there's upstairs seating or not. The staff here was very nice and friendly, and very fast. The service was outstanding here, always checking on us, food came out almost instantly, and super hot. The shrimp poboy was so good! I've never gotten a poboy in my life where the shrimp were too hot to eat when it came out and this one was. Everything about this poboy was perfect, the shrimp, amount of shrimp, bun, toppings. My girl gave the oysters a 4/5 stars as well. I've never eaten oysters so I have no say so in that. The prices seem to be average or slightly above average therefore not a bad spot at all. I know for how much I enjoyed the poboy, it would be worth it for me. I recommend this spot for locals and tourists. 4.5/5 for me, Yelp needs to fix reviews to be able to be half stars as well.
