Car wash is only really decent in emergency- it left a lot of schmutz still there after a cycle, buuut the shop is great, the staff are friendly, polite, and helpful, and as far as station markers go they have decent selection of zoom-zooms and wh-whams, plus cigs and slushy for hot days

The staff was great on fixing this issue. The person on front of me didn't pay. Wait till the car goes in then pay for yours

I have been looking for a Touchless Carwash that is not too far from my home. So far, this is the closest one to my home.
I had a ceramic finish put on my car to protect the paint. The person who put the finish on my car suggested that I get a touchless carwash--to protect the ceramic finish. However, when I searched online for a touchless carwash--I had a gard time finding one that really is touchless. This one is touchless.
Pros:
This place is touchless!!!
Friendly staff
Reasonable price
I liked the results
There is a punch card: 5 washes and the 6th is free
Cons:
I couldn't easily find where to put. the code
It wasn't really clear to me how long to stay where the blower isHelpful 8Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Bette P.Alameda, CA618221Jun 21, 2024Updated review
Carwash is met. Okay for getting the worst off, but will not get bird crap off completely.

NOT WORTH THE TIME IN LINE OR THE MONEY.Mar 31, 2023Previous reviewHiGH gas prices. Carwash is often broken, yet they will sell one at the pump, then you drive over to find it OOB. They won't give you a refund either, "Just come back when it's fixed" which can be days.

It's the car wash for me! Always on point, but make sure you're prepared to wait a bit if it's a nice day cars do get backed up past the actual car wash lane. Prices are reasonable and the equipment is always working, never a delay. Thanks guys!

$14 and my car was only partially clean. It only managed to clean the left 2/3 of windshield & the roof. The rest is dirty. Don't waste your money!

I was getting gas here the other day and needed the bathroom. I thought about waiting, because who wants to use the bathroom at a gas station, they are notoriously disgusting. But, I didn't want to be uncomfortable, so I went. THE CLEANEST bathroom I have ever seen at a gas station BY FAR!!! Wow.

Notable is the handwashing station at the pumps and the plastic gloves that are offered. Very covid approved place.
Very convenient to me and good gas prices. A little annoying how they try to sell you a car wash at the pump even when the car wash is closed. Don't buy one by accident at off hours... I don't think anybody is there to refund you after certain hours either.
Very unique to have a hand washing station at the pump. I think sometimes I've heard people who fuel up with diesel that it can get all over - for that reason its good to have.
Not sure on the quality of gas - I've tried this a few times a full tank each time with 91. Things seem ok. No knocking or pinging in my Jetta. I try mostly to get Chevron with that car though these days after the good mechanics at Hayward Volkswagen saved it from slowly slipping into heapdoom. They tell me all fuel in the USA is inferior to whats in Germany and the German car needs German fuel... and that the best here is Shell or Chevron.
I like that the pumps are open late. Even if the store and carwash is closed you can still come here for gas.
Things are quiet in the area and no riff raff. Better than Park Street no name gas stations.

"Aisle 1" is the gas station/ carwash of Nobhill Foods in Alameda. You shop in the Nobhill supermarket, and then get a discount on a gas purchase. Thus, it creates an incentive to shop more at Nobhill. The big attraction to this gas station is the touchless carwash. Well, maybe it's also cheaper gas prices too!
I used the touchless carwash once, and it didn't really do a good job. I guess it has to do with how dirty your car is, and how well the carwash is working that day. What's a "touchless carwash?" A touchless carwash uses strong chemicals to wash your car. Then powerful rinse jets spray off the chemicals. Then strong dryers blow off remaining water and chemicals. There's no huge brushes or rollers to damage your car's finish. Anyway, everyone seems to like the "touchless" feature, because there's always a line to use the carwash.
Meanwhile, the gas station is nice. Lots of space, well lit at night, and looks bright and shiny.Helpful 36Thanks 0Love this 23Oh no 0 - Sarah N.Alameda, CA022Mar 4, 2024
I came here to wash my car for $12 but after finishing, the soap was still all over the car's windshield. When I complained to the employee, it seemed like he didn't care what I had to say. I was very disappointed. Not recommend.
