Ordered their New Orleans special and t was amazingly delicious. It was shareable enough for two hungry people like us. Service was great. Seated by the window enjoying the sunshine and people walking around Bourbon Street. Thank you for the experience.

I arrived late in New Orleans around 10:30 PM. I noticed a lot of restaurants had already closed and decided to come here upon realizing this establishment closed at 1 AM.

Upon walking in it looked like a dive bar, but there was lots of seating and a lively atmosphere. Since I was by myself, I decided to sit at the bar.

The bartender was so friendly and gave me several recommendations for food and drink. The menu is quite diverse and includes salads. poboys, seafood, platters, blackened specials, Cajun pasta, a variety of deserts, and beverages. there's also imported and domestic beer, wine, and champagne.

I decided to order the Taste of New Orleans, which includes gumbo, crawfish etouffee, red beans, and rice with smoked sausage. I really wanted a sample of some of New Orleans favorites and for $19 I thought it was a real bargain. I also decided to order a frozen mango margarita. The margarita made with Jose Cuervo was delicious and hit the spot perfectly. I also felt like it went with my meal.

The service was amazing. The food was delicious and top-notch. The ambience was not too loud and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. If I'm in New Orleans again I would definitely frequent this establishment.

The food is amazing and so is the service!!! Ivoryelle was an amazing server!!! Very attentive and nice. The redfish vieux carre was great too. It was delicious and filling without the heavy feeling of carbs.

      A1 location!!!

First time in New Orleans and this restaurant looked cute and had a lot of people, good ratings so we thought to give it a try: our group was unimpressed; the food was mediocre; some folks enjoyed their food: shrimp po boy (great sauce on top and dipped with fries) and the beans; and others were disappointing: crab cakes (too fishy- BUT made with real crab; the sauce was a winner, I just wish it wasn't so fish), New Orleans taster- the étouffée was fishy; had decent flavor , fried chicken (grease fried in tasted old), and the bread pudding (dry and tasted old).

The bartender poured short, was a bit unprofessional and seemed off; simple things weren't made right (coming from an ex bartender)-

Our waitress seemed nice but overall it just wasn't for us.

      1 check-in

My family and I are down in New Orleans for the Essence fest and in between time we look for good food places to eat. A few places we have tried have focused more on cranking the food out than the quality and taste.

We arrived around 230pm. The wait was not long outside. We waited maybe 20 mins before we were seated.

I tried the blackened fish and my cousin had the Mardi Gras pasta with chicken. Both were really good.

Special shot out to our server her name is Iveyrelle, she was really good. We like that she also told us her favorites on the menu and she was very Knowledgeable of the dishes on the menu.

The Rene Manager was also very attentive. I recommend this place. I will definitely come back

The ambience was loud at first but once that one table left, it was back to normal busy sounds. We got a table right away considering it was busy. I think we got the last table downstairs. There's an upstairs, but we didn't get to see it. The food was good. My husband said the gumbo was delicious. He got the fried seafood platter which was enough for him and plenty left over to take back to the hotel. There are some vegetarian options. They have a french fry po boy that's served with greens on the side. My only complaint is that it didn't have enough of the other veggies in it. The fries were perfect though! Let's talk about the bread pudding though. I got it free because I checked in using Yelp. It was soooooo GOOD!!! Warm, with a dollop of whipped cream on each side, sweet raisins and a caramel sauce that stole the show! I wasn't impressed with the pecan pie. I took one bite and I was sure I didn't wanna have another. The server was friendly and checked in on us enough.

My first time in New Orleans and I feel like this was a good place to start. Friendly servers and a nice spread of Creole foods. Upstairs was nice and quiet compared to downstairs. Plenty of room too with a charming interior. Right on an entrance to Bourbon Street
