Eating is a community experience. Like art, our restaurant is only as strong as the people who support it. We aren't in the Paseo by accident. This place is home: filled with all walks of like-minded life that love to eat, drink and laugh the same way we do. That also goes for our vendors. We're not just local because of who owns the kitchen. We buy our fresh ingredients from local folks, too. It's our way of giving back to the same economy that keeps us going.

Great service, food, & drink. They were even kind enough to change the TV so that I might watch the football match between England & Slovakia (Euros '24)
This place has a great vegan brunch, dunno & don't care about the nonvegan stuff.
I had the vegan meatloaf, vegan whipped potatoes, & vegan green beans. The whole thing was dank as hail. The house made cold brew was very good too. I do wish it didn't come in a plastic bottle, it seems an unnecessary step that generated unnecessary trash. If it is made in house, it's made in large quantities. Why decant that into a small plastic bottle that I then decant into a glass with ice? Why not bring a reusable container filled with the appropriate amount of cold brew that I might decant into the reusable glass filled with single use frozen water shapes? But I'm no restaurateur so who knows, maybe it's like performing MacBeth or being Terry Gilliam & trying to film Don Quixote. IDK, it's a mystery for the ages.
Spousy enjoyed her victuals as well. She also don't know and didn't care about no nonvegan foodstuffs.
She had the vegan breakfast scramble and was very pleased with it. We shared vegan biscuits & vegan gravy and vegan brunch potatoes. The biscuits existed and didn't offend anyone, the gravy was slobber all over delicious. Like whatever the eating version of ugly crying is, that gravy will put you through it. I love that they have Valentina salsa picante. Not nearly enough places do.
This place is loud, like stupid loud. Tin ceiling tile, hard surfaces everywhere loud. It would be swell if this joint would put in some sound deadening/dampening mitigants but that is a trade of I'm willing to make because the vegan food is so good, so easy to spot on the menu, and so easy to order without having to play twenty questions-which is such a luxury in Oklahoma.
I recommend going here with everyone you know and if they give you any lip, the folks who work there seem nice enough that they'd prolly help you get your lick back outside behind the purple building.
We can't wait to return and try more of the delicious vegan offerings and still not give any squirts about the nonvegan stuff.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 44103326Jun 22, 2024
Lovely lunch at Picasso on Paseo. Enjoyable venue, a little funky and lots of fun. Love the look of their bar. It's very inviting. It was too warm to eat outside, but their new street side patio has so much more room than before the street and sidewalk improvements. It's nice and comfortably spaced. If it's been a while since you have been to the Paseo, the new look is great. The area has never been more vibrant.
We started with fried Goat Cheese. It's tempura battered with a honey glaze. Delectable!
We both opted for the fish and chips. It's Beer Battered cod, with seasoned fries, and Caper Remoulade. It was excellent. Loved the seasoned fries.
The restaurant is neat, clean, and tidy. The service was good, the table spacing comfortable, the noise levels low, and the service good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 16, 2024
The food is always good and the drinks are delicious too. Drink service is usually slow, but the food is always hot. There are plenty of vegan options.
They get pretty busy so I suggest a reservation. Parking can be difficult as well.
They have local art hanging up for purchase and host monthly events!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 25, 2024
Nestled in the Paseo Art District, Picasso has a quality & ambience unmatched in OKC. Vibrantly styled, new artwork is showcased throughout the year of impactful statement pieces adorning a cafe of comfortable seating. The menu has something for everyone with options for food sensitive patrons, designed to be more inclusive than most restaurants in the city. There is also a special seasonal menu for cocktails & cuisine that are creatively curated to complement a theme. The staff is always a delight and warmly welcomes families or solo diners alike. Parking can take time as the street offers limited spaces; I typically find a spot nearby and enjoy the lovely walk through this brightly painted district. One of my favorite spots in the city, I cannot recommend visiting OKC without stopping here for brunch or a night on the town.

I ordered a breakfast burrito and my friend ordered the charcuterie board. Everything is delicious and the staff are so pleasant. Will definitely come back here. Ambiance is wonderful. Reminds me a an upscale bar.

The ambience here is fantastic--small, cozy, and very welcoming. The service was exceptional; our server was kind, friendly, and incredibly attentive. The main entrees were a hit. I had the steak pasta, which was packed with flavor, and my wife enjoyed the salmon with risotto, finding it equally rich and delicious. Unfortunately, the appetizers didn't quite measure up. The cinnamon roll, despite being the special of the day, was heavy and tough--definitely a letdown, especially with Frida Shouwest nearby, known for the best cinnamon rolls. My wife tried the white queso, and while it was good, it wasn't the best she's had. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, but we're unlikely to return.

The good:
1. Our service was outstanding. Everyone was attentive and willing to help. Great suggestions. Even free dessert!
2. The table was excellent. The ambiance for new years was spectacular.
3. The food was excellent. Artichoke ravioli, Mac and cheese, Cuban sandwich and blackened shrimp risotto. But the true star is the fried goat cheese. Crispy and glazed with honey on arugula.
The bad: nothing!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 3, 2024
The food is AMAZING!! My wife got the Mustard glaze salmon with loaded potatoes, I got the tres fish of the sea with shrimp and lastly, we got the salmon, avocado spring rolls that are to die for!!
The area is beautiful for an afternoon meal, date night or just to go walk around to enjoy the scenery.
The service is the only reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars. I placed the order over the phone and they took down my debit card incorrectly and when I got there I was at curbside then I had to go in and rerun my card. Not a deal breaker by any means this is just my experience being that this is my first time.
Overall, my wife and I loved this place and we will return!!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 6, 2023
We had a really good dinner. Hadn't been in here in a little while. We ordered from the December Chef Specials. I got the Pepper Crusted Flat Iron Steak ($32) and my wife got the Vegan Pozole ($15). They were both really good. The steak had a great flavor and the potatoes were the perfect side. $32 is getting up there price wise but definitely glad I chose this dish vs a hamburger. It's worth it.
When the Vegan Pozole came out the first time, it wasn't warm enough. They promptly took it back and made it warmer. Much better after warming it up. For the trouble, they gave us a free desert so I got the Red "Spectacles" Cake. Oh man that cake was good. Might be the best red velvet cake I've ever had. On top of that it comes with a cup of Hot chocolate. How can you go wrong with that? Haha.
Overall it was a good dinner. Highly recommend either of these dishes.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1
