What happens when Al Copeland decides to open a fried chicken joint? A real New Orleans tradition is born.
Popeyes Chicken is so very good. So are their mashed potatoes, red beans and rice, fries, onion rings and those biscuits. Oh my word those biscuits. Yummy! I love their strips as well as the traditional mixed fried pieces. Always spicy and delicious, a box of Popeyes fried chicken is the perfect thing to pick up to bring to a Mardi Gras parade. When they're in season you can also pick up some fried crawfish or shrimp.
Sadly, Mr. Copeland is no longer with us but his legacy lives on through his delicious New Orleans cuisine that we continue to enjoy to this day.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Inquisitor M.Slidell, LA15169111Feb 25, 2014
Closed and gone. It's unfortunate, because this was one of the better stores. The one located on Gause Blvd. is terrible, and reeks of old cooking grease.
