      DO NOT PARK HERE!
they are too quick to boot you!
      $144 to remove a boot.
If you lose track of time (a normal affair in New Orleans, having fun) and even if (like I did) you add time, they get you in between!!!!
      AVOID ALL PREMIUM PARKING LOTS!!
There are so many other options near by!
      Trust me!

My family and I recently visited New Orleans for the Taylor Swift concert (she was amazing, by the way!). Having lived in Baton Rouge we are familiar with how dangerous New Orleans is. Since we were there with our small children we wanted to be extra careful. We booked a very nice & safe hotel - Double Tree. However, after calling to check on parking we learned they have minimal oversize parking (my husband has an oversized truck). We didn't want to risk arriving at night and having to struggle to find parking. So we did some google searches & found a lot near the hotel that allowed oversized vehicles. It was gated & had security cameras so we felt it would be our safest bet. We booked online for both of our vehicles.

The morning of check out we went to get our vehicles and were surprised to find immobilization devices/boots on both of them by a company named Admiral Enforcement! We were still paid up for parking for 3.5 more hours! My husband called the number on the boot sticker & was told they couldn't do anything until he paid the $260 fee. He showed them our receipts and the Admiral rep said it didn't matter to him if we had paid or not because they were in no way affiliated with Premium Parking. So my husband refused to pay. The attendant drove off.

After an hour or so in the hot September mid-day sweltering heat my husband finally finds a parking lot attendant for Premium. She says she can see we are paid up so she doesn't know why the boots were put on our vehicles. He explains that we paid for secure parking & obviously didn't receive it, and that Premium needs to pay to remove the boots. She says they don't do that. That somehow it's the customer's responsibility to pay for this criminal activity. The attendant then leaves and we don't see her again.

We make many, many phone calls. We call Premium, Admiral & finally our hotel recommends we call the police as this is an organized scam. The police tell me their hands are tied because it is a "civil matter", yet if we make an attempt to remove the boots that were illegally placed on our vehicles we will be arrested.

Several hours have now gone by, my husband and I are at our wits end, the children are cranky and we should have been on the road hours ago. The Admiral rep makes another round through the lot and tells us that New Orleans is a dangerous city and if we want to leave today with our kids we have to pay up by 3pm. I call the police again as this is a direct threat to our safety. My husband, afraid of what things may escalate to at this point, pays to remove the boots & we finally go home.

      NEVER EVER PARK HERE!

This particular parking spot was where we parked our car while exploring New Orleans.

The spot is located within the Central Business District, the more modern part of New Orleans. It's less than a 5 minute walk to Canal Street. It is at least a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter.

Parking prices are reasonable. From what I recall there are several price points: 3 hours, up to 9 hours, 12 hours and overnight. Parking for 9 hours is less than $10. You can pay via the stall or use the app to pay in advance. Supposedly through the app you can add hours.

There isn't many spaces in this parking lot and there's quite a few spots that are considered "premium" parking spots, which warrant a higher fee. They're closer to the exit and are a bit bigger. Regular parking spots are a bit on the small side.

It's funny I see a lot of posts on how their car got booted. News flash: If you pay for your spot you have nothing to worry about. Very easy to get in and out.

They've booted our car when we are fully paid, chipped the rim and ruined my husbands birthday and our trip. I'll pay anything to park anywhere else next time we visit. Zero stars.

We parked at this location during our recent road trip to New Orleans. Making the reservation and prepaying for a spot for the duration of our stay was easy and stress free. Lot was directly across from our hotel, St. James, which was very convenient. It also allowed for in/out privileges although we utilized the trolley a lot.

Drove around near our hotel, saw the Premium Parking lot, decided to check it out. Very close to our hotel (we parked late, wanted to get out early, our hotel wanted charge the whole $40 for overnight). Saw how easy it was to text and reserve a spot and pay online. We parked for 9 hours at a third of the hotel cost. Very nice and convenient. We'll always look for one of your spots on our next visit and will tell everyone who visits New Orleans to try your parking spaces. Thank you so much.
