I feel like I found a local secret! Seriously...park here. It's SUPER close to the French Quarter, and 4-14 hours is only $8!! I thought it was too good to be true, but some things in life are just awesome, so you go with it. Everywhere else was $40 for 10 hours. And the best part, for me anyways, it's right on Canal St. so you're basically starting at one end of the FQ so you can make your way through the Quarter zig zagging through the whole area. It's freakin' perfect. You're literally 3 blocks away. I'm a woman travelling solo, on a serious budget, and I felt safe, both for myself and my car. Just be aware of your surroundings and be smart. I also left before it got dark, so there's that. But seriously, if you're down to save tons of money for parking and want a pre-adventure, adventure, you have to park here. I've never been so excited about parking in my life. It was $8 dude.

This parking area is with the hospital. It's very accommodating to it. It looks tight when you first go in but it's not. The security for the hospital is around so it's a safer choice of parking. Highly recommend.

      DO NOT PARK HERE!
they are too quick to boot you!
      $144 to remove a boot.
If you lose track of time (a normal affair in New Orleans, having fun) and even if (like I did) you add time, they get you in between!!!!
      AVOID ALL PREMIUM PARKING LOTS!!
There are so many other options near by!
      Trust me!

I found this garage thanks to the recommendation of a friend. I was staying in the French Quarter and didn't want to pay the $33/night parking fee at the hotel.
Although this location was about a 0.75 mile walk one way from my hotel, it was worth it. The max daily rate of $18 and definitely trumps $33. And given that most of time the car was only parked about 12 hours or less, the fee was only $7 each morning...That's a $26 difference daily! The 1.5 miles roundtrip spanned Canal Street so I count that exercise as an unintended benefit.

I had some trouble getting to the entrance the first time thanks to all of the one way streets (and no address to the garage) but once I got it, I was a laughing at how silly it was to be so turned around.

My only complaint is that the signs for navigating the garage aren't that clear. If you're not going into the hospital, you can take the elevator to b the 1st floor, go out the door on the left. If the gate is up great (I found it to be open during regular business hours). If not, follow the little path and go left to the exit. My first day the gate was closed and the exit signs weren't eye catching so I went back to b the second floor, wandered through the hospital until I found an exit. Or, if you can find an outside stairwell in the garage (and you're not on floors 4+), take the stairs to the street level.

Be sure to take your ticket with you, you may need the ticket number to reenter the garage through the secure door after hours and on weekends. Also, you can pay by card using the machine at the gate exit. When the exit is unmanned so you can't pay with cash.

I think if I were in there at night by myself I'd be a little unnerved but I wasn't alone. I give it 4 stars for the competitive price, proximity to the Quarter and I feel more secure having a garage rather than a street lot. If I don't find better parking options, this will be my first choice in future Quarter Parking.

Don't park here!!!!! We were charged $120 to remove a boot and we paid for parking. We showed proof of payment to the boot man and he still would not remove the device unless we paid $120. Unless you want to be extorted find another lot that is not run by criminals. I would give -100 stars but it's not an option. They didn't deserve one star.

Essentially the parking mecca for all those either visiting or working within the Tulane Medical Center. It offers valet and seven levels of parking within the garage. It's connected to the MC and has designated parking for those having to receive treatment at the Cancer Care facility. Super convenient.

The gentlemen working this lot are super helpful and friendly too.

Daily parking costs can be expensive in comparison to other lots in the surrounding area. However, they do offer a monthly contract at a much cheaper rate for $80. TMC employees also get a parking break/discount.

There are some obvious downfalls to this, as most other, parking garages. There are areas where spaces are tight and you're likely to get dings/marks on your car from your neighbor carelessly opening their doors. My suggestion: DON'T PARK IN THESE SPACES (duh). Yes, you might be a few steps closer to the elevator or on a lower, connecting level, but if you care for your car, take a few extra steps:
      -Arrive a few minutes early.
-Park at/near the top level, farthest from the elevator.
-Back your car into a space, and do it straight.

Trust me, the people parking in these areas are doing the same.

Or don't... and I'll be sure to always have a prime spot ;)

Probably the cheapest parking without the need to validate near the French Quarter and just a couple of blocks away from Bourbon Street. It's at its northeast corner.

We parked here for about 2 hrs and it cost only $3! Pay by credit card upon exit for the most convenience.

Can a bit hard getting back to the car late in the evening because doors to the parking structure are locked for security. However, you'll get in if you follow the signs. Or, you can always just walk up the way your car came in on even though you're not supposed to! Hahaha.
