Qweex: On-Demand Mobile Car Wash

The mobile car wash app has gotten SOOO MUCH better since I downloaded it back in January. I think I had originally booked a car wash and it was never confirmed and no one showed up...and it was kind of crazy cluster. HOWEVER, I re-downloaded the app last week, booked, confirmed, and Taro showed up today right on time.

The cars are looking great and was pretty happy with the work. I did take everything out of the sedan to make sure things were cleaned and Taro did a really thorough job!

After tax and tip, it does come out to be about $95 per car so it isn't cheap...but if you're in a pinch or life is just crazy busy, it is definitely worth it to have a clean car. Plus it is the premium for convenience..

Two thoughts or tips would be: 1. If you are getting two cars washed, the app gets a little weird so it looks like you are adding one car under another car...like the other car is an "Add-on". lol - if you are worried about that, don't ..it seems to be right. and 2. When you check your car after the wash, make sure you check the side mirrors. I totally didn't and there were spots all over the side mirrors. Womp.

Great service. Fast, affordable, and efficient. Did a great job on the interior and exterior clean.

Qweex provides really quality handwash work and the convenience of it all is excellent.

I've been using this service for a couple of years now for basic interior and exterior washes. The technicians do a good job and it's quite convenient having them come to the house!

I have used Qweex many a time in the last 2-3 years. Initially, the service was fantastic. But the last 2-3 times, they have sent the same guy over and over again who is an absolute disaster. The last time he came over he told me he was being overworked and hence cannot scrub off the stains on my car as he was tired. And then he offered to come over on the weekend for an additional $150 to scrub off those stains. Customer service is mediocre at best. I won't be using this service again.

I've used them a few times was is typically decent for the price not very thorough but again for the price it's doable but as of late they have not been very reliable do to short staffing it's frustrating to book for a service and not receive said service for what ever reason if you use them plan ahead and have a back up plan on standby

First time using a mobile car wash service and I was very happy with the experience! I was in the process of getting my car transferred over to a new owner and wanted to get it nice and clean before sending it off. However, I wanted a service that would also clean the interior of the car rather than just me bringing it through an automatic car wash. But at the same time, I didn't really have the time or patience to bring in the car myself and then sit around waiting for it to be ready. Am I glad that I found Qweex as a solution!

I downloaded the app and made a reservation for the very next day. They had a bunch of different time slots to choose from, all in 1 hour increments as that's how long they expect each service to be. You enter the details of your car and let them know where it will be parked - this is a super handy feature in case you can't be around when they come to clean your car. They would be able to find it without you and take care of the entire service without you having to be there.

The day of my service, my washer (Roger) was super responsive via text. He arrived half an hour early and confirmed with me that the car in my driveway was the correct one to get started on. He then spent the next hour going through all the details of getting my car clean, both inside and out. When he was done, he took a few pics and shot me another text to let me know he had finished and was on his way. I was able to check out and leave gratuity directly through the app. I love this contactless model!

As for the clean itself, there were some minor details that were overlooked but overall, the car looked pretty good and was definitely good enough to be sent over to its new owners.

While the pricing for Qweex will be a little more than what you would pay bringing it in yourself, I found that the benefit of the time and convenience it afforded me outweighed the small price differential and was totally worth it. Would highly recommend Qweex!

I have been using Qweex for the past 3 years and I have been nothing but SATISFIED!! They make my 15 year old car look like it just came off the showroom floor!! The prices are reasonable and the guys are professional. They come to my house or my office. Highly recommend!

Used their service multiple times and was good. Last time I used it their technician scratched my car it's been 3 weeks and no one reaches out to me I've called I've texted people they all say they're working on it but never call me back

The city has lost the touchless carwash on Divis, which...while not perfect...was really your best option to keep the car clean. There are other good options, but nothing as quick and easy. I have used Qweex at least 4 or 5 times over the past year or so, and I can report that it is a great option. They do a very good job, it is very convenient, and they are very communicative with you about arrival times. Interior and exterior takes an hour or so - at least for my large car.
One caveat, which has been mentioned before. Sometimes they are right on time in your window, but sometimes they are not. They will let you know, but if you have a time crunch I would tell you not to depend on them to get your car cleaned in a two hour window with 100% certainty (1 hour window to show up and 1 hour to clean the car). You do need to be there or be able to open your car for them upon arrival, so you get into a sort of Comcast situation where you are just waiting around. Right now I am stuck at home with my dog and kid waiting for them to get here so we can have a day. I scheduled my time for 9-10 am because I thought it would be early enough to avoid delays. They are being great and telling me what is up - hence the 5 stars - but it just isn't a perfect system.

In summary - great service, but best to have them come by during a movie or a football game on the weekend, or while you are working, rather than when you have things to do.
