Redfish Pizza

I came here on a Saturday for lunch. It was not busy, we were the only ones in the restaurant. But we were greeted with smiling faces. We ordered the pizza's they are known for which was the redfish and the gumbo. The restaurant is good for groups and there are plenty of TVs on with cartoons (if you want) for the kiddos. The booths are cute, they are all arched and the decor is really nice.

The pizza came pretty quickly and I tasted the gumbo. I thought it was interesting. The gumbo's sauce kind of tasted like BBQ sauce to me, which I did not like, but it was just the flavors I tasted. I am sure it was not BBQ but maybe all the ingredients together gave it that flavor for me. Then there was a the redfish, which I was excited about but a little more disappointed than the gumbo pizza. It was exactly as described, fresh ingredients and covered in an ample amount of crab and cheese. I just unfortunately did not love it. Again, maybe my taste buds but I thought it was too fishy for my liking. I also wonder why it is called redfish if there is no redfish on the pizza. I do kinda wish there were more seafood toppings variety on their pizzas.

Overall it was a unique experience that I am glad I did. I def think this place is great for families.

Love this place!! My only complaint is that they're not closer to my home. Very much worth the drive, the pizza crust is both crisp, doughy and flavorful. It has a more airy, olive oil type feel that some of the NY style pizzas. The crust is as enjoyable as the center.
I had their King Cake style pizza at a party once, but nothing is as good as eating it hot and fresh in the restaurant (which is open for seating). We ordered the Deluxe pizza and some fountain drinks but they do have beers. I must note that despite having multiple 10+ pizza orders ahead of us, our pizza came out within about 15min. Super impressed with their speed and friendliness. I loved everything about the pizza, perfect cheese, tangy sauce and the toppings were crazy flavorful.
I will make an excuse to come here anytime I'm near Kenner in the future!

i have passed by redfish pizza and always wanted to try it so decided to stop by

they have a lunch special with a sub + side. you can get one side or two so i got a portobello mushroom sub with a side salad plus fries. i also got a mozzarella bread as a side

the portion size was really big - the sub was really big and had lots of mushrooms and grilled onion. the salad was good while the french fries were ok.

the mozzarella bread was also huge and it was the size of a personal pizza

big portion size and decent flavor - service needs to be improved though

I wanted a good hot pizza for lunch today so I asked a coworker for a recommendation. I was happy to hear something other than the usual. I should have ordered the usual. The pizza arrived cold. I am still looking for the sauce and the cheese was not even melted. The crispy crust was soggy and I am just disappointed. I am going to take it home, put some tomato sauce on it and place it in the air fryer.

The staff were so friendly and nice! Our server was full of personality and pizazz, very sweet!
The pizza. Not sure how this place got such high ratings, but it made us both sick. I first thought it was refurbished frozen pizza by the cheese consistency, I'm not sure, but I have an iron stomach and even I was feeling a tad queasy after, my husband who really has a weak stomach was sick an hour or so after into the next 24 hours. Sadly we were in Kenner for a tournament and hub's upset stomach wasn't helpful for competing.

Love this new-to-us pizza place in Kenner. We really enjoyed the new burger option on the menu -- great seasoning and blend of ground beef, bacon and sausage. Would definitely get that again, especially if it was available as a sliders option. All of the pizzas we ordered were great. The owner is so welcoming and friendly. Great experience!

The pizza was worth every penny. I walked in just after five on a Friday evening and was the only customer. I'm sure they would have rather I ordered on my phone using the code thingy, but whatever. Despite having a soda fountain, they gave me a bottle of Coke. The delivery side of the house seemed to be hopping. My buffalo chicken pizza came out hot and fresh. The gal who took my order sat a few booths over, ate some lettuce. She was talking very loudly about how she met a truck driver the night before and spent the best five minutes she's had in a while. While I'm glad she got some, it was a bit disturbing. I couldn't finish the pizza and did not want to take the rest home. I can only hope to forget about this soon.

If I could give 0 stars for the place I would. I placed an online order for a king cake pizza, cheese bread, and quesadilla. The online form said it would be ready at 7. Got there for 7 and after waiting several minutes for someone to come out from the back I was told it would be 15 minutes later. I had no problem waiting. 15 minutes later I was told it would be 10 more minutes. After waiting an hour the pizza and quesadilla were finally ready. I was told they could not make the cheese bread and offered salad instead. I asked for a refund of the cheese bread instead. I was then told by the worker that "it's $3.99 you still want a refund?" He then asked who the cheese bread was for as if that somehow mattered. He then took $4 out of the tip jar and gave it to me. Will never return!

I ordered delivery from here one night for the family. We got 1 large 14" Redfish pizza $17.99 and 1 large 14" Fresh Spinach $17.99. Both pizzas were tasty but mush smaller than their box. The lady told me to expect the order in 20 mins but it took closer to 50 mins. I know a lot of people that don't care for seafood on pizza or mixed with cheese but I love it. The crab was semi sweet and the shrimp had a nice textural bite but were not all de-veined. Their spicy mayo sauce complemented it well though, I enjoyed the Redfish pizza the most. The Fresh Spinach pizza was okay, could not taste any Feta on it. My total was $44 and change and I did not get a receipt but thinking about the math they must have a high delivery fee or something like that even after taxes. I would order again but try something else and not go out of my way for it.

I'm always wanting to try something different -off the cuff - what no one else does! Ah yes, the redfish pizza - with a flare I've never even heard of. First, instead of marinara sauce it has a mayonnaise based sauce??? Next, topped with crab meat and shrimp! This I have to try. Sorry to say, not my favorite. The shrimp were the tiny ones with a taste I did not care for at all. Personally I thing that ruined the whole pizza experience for me - even after picking them all off. Gotta say - worth a try, just was not for me. Maybe try the gumbo pizza sometime? Maybe. We'll see....
