Ilya and his crew did an amazing job painting our house and updating some interior features. We would recommend his work for five reasons:

First, the quality. As you can see in the photos, the paint and trim are done beautifully. Everything else they did was also exactly how we wanted it, and they left our house sparkling clean and ready for move in.

Second, efficiency. We needed the work done in one week so we could move into our new home, and it was completed on time.

Third, price. We chose Ilya after getting two other estimates, and based on those estimates, we believe that we got an outstanding deal.

Fourth, communication. At the beginning of the project, Ilya explained how his crew would do the work, and he always responded immediately by phone or text to any questions we had. He was very helpful in picking out paint, brands, and with all other issues that came up. He made us feel like we were his most important clients the entire time his crew was working on our house.

Fifth, breadth of expertise. It seemed like Ilya has folks for everything you might need for your house. We were thinking about replacing our roof, and he sent over a great roofer to give us his opinion and estimate. We needed help moving a heavy buffet into the house, and he sent us someone to help on the same day. We needed to install a deadbolt, and a handyman was at our door the next day. When our doorbell stopped working, he sent over an electrician who got it working again in no time.

We could not be happier with everything that Ilya and his crew did for us, and we will definitely hire him in the future.

Our project was consist of renovation of our backyard (adding a deck with stairs and changing all the fences). I ended up working with Ilya's team for some electrical work.

I hired this company to rebuild my front deck. They did a great job. Responsive, responsible, patient, and fairly priced. They took seriously the safety of the project and helped me schedule inspections along the way. I would hire them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

After meeting with many companies for a joint reroof & balcony/deck reconstruction project, we decided to go with Reliable Construction to handle both at the same time. Living in SF, we wanted someone very familiar with the SF permitting system, and Ilya showed a level of comfort and understanding that we didn't see with anyone else. Ilya was extremely responsive throughout the process, and we were ultimately very impressed with the speed and quality of the work his team did. I think they finished in half or a third of the time originally quoted. Everyone on his team was extremely respectful, and we would definitely work with them again for the number of both indoor and outdoor projects we have planned for the future.

I highly recommend Reliable Construction! We first used Ilya and his team last year when we had unexpected water intrusion due to old siding. He and his team came out immediately and helped us repair the siding that was causing the leak. After having such a great experience with the first project, we reached out to Ilya again this spring to repair/replace all of our siding and repaint our entire house. This was no small feat as we have an old Victorian that is 4 stories tall with siding that had not been repaired in a long time. He is very knowledgeable and very responsive! His team is also great. The quality of the work is fantastic, and we are thrilled with the result!

We recently did a full exterior paint job and repair of siding and failing roofing on our balcony. Ilya and his team were very professional, courteous, and timely when it came to their work. Communication was also very good. Other than the great paint job and work, I was also very impressed with how clean they kept the work site. After every day, they would spend the last part of the day cleaning around the outside of the house and making sure the surrounding neighbors were affected as little as possible. Guillermo and his team of painters were also great and tedious with their work. Guillermo helped us choose the scheme and was a great help with deciding where to use trim color and where to use base color. They even painted the wall of my neighbors house that was facing our property with the matching color.

Overall, I am very happy with my decision to go with Ilya and his team and would recommend them and will likely work with them again in the future.

I am a returned customer. Back in 2018 Ilya's team remodeled my large kitchen, and to my high satisfaction! in May 2024 I asked them to install TREX floor on my balcony. All went well. I am glad I have someone in the construction business whom I can trust for quality work and for great advises that come from years of experience.

We've used Ilya's company for several jobs now. Ilya and his team did such a great job with our bathroom remodel several years ago that we asked him to remodel our kitchen and completely redo our leaky old front stairs this summer. They did a great job on both! The projects were completed quickly; the kitchen was done in just over six weeks, which apparently is really fast. Both Ilya and his project manager, Michael, are very responsive, punctual, and are great at explaining the best way to design / build things. They helped us with the kitchen design, explained pros and cons of different design options, and told us where to purchase cabinets, tiles, etc at reasonable prices. The various specialists who came in to do work - electricians, plumbers, tile installers, cabinet installers, etc - were very skilled and professional. I really appreciated the fact that they were careful not to accidentally let our cats out (which may seem like a silly thing but shows that they care) and kept the house clean.
The prices on all the projects were quite reasonable, especially for the Bay Area.
And of course, most importantly, the kitchen turned out amazing! Everyone who's seen it has commented on how great it looks.
We would hire Ilya again in a heartbeat.

Super good, high quality, and responsive service with reasonable pricing by Ilya and Team! They built us a complex 3-story deck two years ago and quality was exceptional. This year we needed re-roofing done in tight schedule and we got the work done months faster than others were promising.
