Rollin fatties is absolutely delicious! It is a very unique burrito experience with the basmati rice and pickled cabbage but more than anything it is delectable. The chicken is tender and flavorful, the chips are thick and crunchy, the guac is creamy and tasty, and the pickled cabbage adds a great flavor. The people who work in the truck are awesome!

If you are looking for a classic burrito experience this is not the place, but if you are looking for a great meal, then come here! It is a little expensive for a burrito but the quality is great. Lastly, it is awesome for vegetarians and vegans!

A very popular food truck, and for good reason. You can typically find them on Tulane Ave. from 11am-2pm near the hospital and medical school. (Tip: check their Instagram page to follow their location!) The menu is beautifully simple: you choose from a bowl/burrito/tacos/nachos, select a protein, and decide whether or not you want to add guacamole. They don't have the protein options written on their menu, so you need to ask the cashier, but based on my visits it seems like there's chicken, fish, and tofu. Not sure if these ever vary.

I've tried both the bowl and burrito (each $7, excluding tax) and definitely prefer the burrito just because it seems so much heftier a portion. Taste is great and super flavorful. Service is friendly and fast. Overall, a great choice for lunch that can do no wrong.

Rollin Fatties.. May I just say if I lived in NOLA I'd be rollin one on a regular basis, a burrito fattie of course. Firstly, I added this to our list of must noms strictly due to the epic name but wow did it end up being so much more.

May I just make a note, it's closed on weekends. We found out the hard way by walking a couple miles to the location and wondering what was wrong with us that we couldn't locate this blasted food truck. Ah. Details details.

The hilarious name was siren enough to attract us even without knowing their policy on the glutenisgross factor. Luckily upon ordering I was met with -oh yah we have lots of gf choices. Celiac? Sure we'll prep it with clean gloves- hello heaven. I had to restrain from demanding my weight in gf noms and settled on a pair of beautiful street tacos while the husband impressively put away a burrito in record time and then was eyeing my tacos with that look of desire. Though my tacos with the killer red cabbage slaw were too good to share, I remembered my marriage vows and gave him the last bite. I'll log that one away for the next time I'm in trouble. The horchata was also excellent, and yes he got some of that too. Spoiled.

Allergen knowledge, freshness of ingredients, and killer taste, this place was a wow factor all the way around.

Chicken Fattie [Burrito] and fish tacos were fresh, maintained interesting and well executed flavor profile, and the portions were generous.

I ordered both the Chicken Fattie and 2 fish tacos. The chicken fatties is a large burrito stuffed with seasoned chicken, rice, beans, and pickled cabbage. Everything came together very nicely in temperature (cool cabbage vs hot proteins), flavors, and mouthfeel (crunch of cabbage with soft rice, beans, and substantial chicken.)

The tortilla was soft and chewy as I prefer.

The pickled cabbage was lightly sweet and acidic. The chicken was shredded and seasoned. I found the chicken to be just slightly dry, though it was still quite good. Beans and rice brought body to the burrito without distraction from the flavor.

The fish tacos had a tasty chewy tortilla. The toppings, pico de gallo & cabbage, were fresh and well-paired with the fish. The fish was light and flaky enough (not perfect). It had pleasant seasoning.

      Service was friendly and fast.

Traveled to town for a conference and was looking for a good vegan option for lunch. Mix that with Mexican?! I was sold! I had the vegan bowl (bbq tofu, rice, slaw, guacamole, pico de gallo, and black beans. I demolished it! So colorful and appetizing and delicious! That bbq tofu?!?! Dude. It was worth the Lyft ride to get over to it. The guys running the food truck were very friendly and helpful as well.

Thee most popular food truck on Tulane Avenue during lunchtime. But don't take my word for it, just pass down the street on a weekday around 12:30pm-1pm and see for yourself!

I heard about this food truck for a while before I witnessed the deliciousness first hand. Once I started working in the CBD, I soon learned of why they were so popular in the first place: the food is amazing.

I typically get a fattie (burrito) with chicken. Listen, this place isn't called "Rollin Fatties" for nothing; these burritos are HUGE and I love it. I usually eat off of one burrito for lunch and then also again for dinner or a snack. I'm a huge fan of the basmati rice that is included in the burritos as well as the cabbage slaw. I never liked slaw on anything until I tasted theirs! Their guacamole is also top notch and so fresh with their chips. Gotta love the Mexican Cokes too.

The staff is super friendly and although many see the long line and aren't up for the wait, these guys are about their business and move as quickly as possible to get you your food hot, fresh and fast. Stop by for a lunchtime fix! I know I will.

Fattie (burrito) with chicken and a host of other delicious ingredients. Alongside a ginger beer.

Chicken fatty and fish tacos for lunch, and Chinese kitchen for dinner. Now I remember why I couldn't stay in Houston after Katrina!!

As much as there are different styles of Mexican, this is the closest place that comes to mind when I think of .50 fish tacos in Ensenada.

They keep the menu simple with only a few items. Anybody can do everything, but it takes a business philosophy to do a few things right.

And 55 5 star reviews that have been removed,
Seriously Yelp! that is messed up....

I had the Rollin Fatties Chicken bowl and it was absolutely delish!! I love how they come with a variety of toppings including veggies, rice, guacamole, beans, a couple of chips, and your choice of meat! I felt that the meat wasn't dry at all and it was super juicy, and the beans were mixed into some type of sauce that definitely added a lot of flavor to it. The line does get long pretty fast and the parking is quite difficult because it's in a central busy city area downtown. Overall, it was definitely worth the wait, and I'm definitely coming back again to try out the nachos platter.

Hands down the most consistent and delicious food truck in Nola. The staff are friendly and awesome to their customers. I only wish they had evening set ups because I work a long ways from this truck during the week and only have the chance to enjoy it when I take a vacation day during the week like I did today. The fish fattie bowl is my favorite ever. Every time I say I want to try the tofu I just can not bring myself to order anything but the fish fattie bowl! My boyfriend is usually the driver so he gets the burrito which is wrapped for easy and no mess consumption while driving.

Try them!!! Seriously!! Worth the trip out of your way! Prices are so extremely reasonable also !

Holy mother of burritos! I've been deprived of good Mexican food/burritos since I've relocated to New York but hot dayuuum, ROLLIN' FATTIES is on my list of NOLA #GOAT.

Rightfully named, these bad boys are FATTIES and stuffed to the max! It's a miracle they don't come bursting out of their tortilla wrap. There was just enough pico de gallo without it being too soggy. The seasoned basmati rice was light, soft, and seriously flavorful. The red cabbage slaw had a heavenly pickle and honestly, I couldn't decide if I liked the rice, slaw, or protein more. The chipoltle cream just tied everything together into a juicy, southern creole Studio 54 dance party that I want to be a part of forever.

We ordered the Chipoltle Pulled Chicken and it was succulent and not dry at all. The Pan Seared Tilapia had a nice seafood smell to it and added some extra sweetness to the overall burrito. I can't decide which I love more!

      Tips:
      1) Check their IG to see if they're open or not (11am-2pm)! They're usually around the Tulane Medical Center and they were on Tulane Ave today along with other food trucks!
      2) Should you decide to take a burrito en route LANOIA, put this food weapon in its own separate tray because the TSA pulled my bag to the side... It was my questionable item!

Burrito blessed in New Orleans. I'll definitely try the BBQ Tofu Fattie next time and grab the other two as well!
