My experience in San Francisco Toyota has been excellent.
My husband and I are completely satisfied with our cars from Toyota, and with the team.
My special thanks to Michael Dang, because he always has been very kind, helpful, efficient and dedicated with our requirements and needs to our cars.
When we got our first Hybrid car, Michael stayed with us after hours to show us everything about it, it was very kind of him.
I am also grateful to Ken Go, who has been kind and very professional to make our Car Contracts, explained to us everything about car insurance, car safety and more, since 8 years ago.

Bought a Toyota rav4 hybrid woodland edition from SF Toyota and had a great experience. Michael helped us quickly get questions answered, process paperwork, and took time to show us how to use all the features we would have otherwise failed to pay attention to. Sunny was also very helpful in keeping things simple and easy.
What stands out and why I'm taking time to review is that after we bought our car, the DMV failed to deliver our license plates and registration. We were worried nobody could help us, but even 4 months after our purchase the r dealership helped expedite our request and immediately get new plates so we wouldn't be at risk of fines. Michael, sunny, and Stelio prioritized our needs with urgency and Michael even drove to our house to deliver them himself. Ordered the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD off-road bronze oxide with Alex Kwong. From the initial meeting at the end of March till the arrival of the Truck in June, Alex was great to work with during the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and patient in helping me fine tune the truck settings to my desired requirements. The new truck design exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend Alex and this dealership!

These people are superb. They are incredibly helpful in finding the car best for you, make the purchasing process smooth as possible easy, are up front and transparent in transactions and are efficient. I would HIGHLY recommend making the trek to buy your Toyota here even if you live in the NorthBay...they are that good :)

This place is amazing, specifically Philip Yue, very helpful and genuine. Very dedicated to helping customers even on his off days. I feel that his purpose is to turly help and not just get a sale. I would definitely come back to this location. Great service!

I had been researching the all electric Toyota Bz4x since last year and they had none here in the midwest dealerships as of Dec 2022/Jan 2023. I researched in California and Colorado and found a couple that fit what I wanted. San Francisco Toyota had the car I wanted for a very great price. We moved quickly in getting the car and purchasing before the end of the year.
I was pleased initially with Phillip Y. who was our initial contact in getting the car. I wasn't too thrilled with the financing department and the run around I got when trying to figure out financing. I spoke to someone named Tamara and was frustrated with her attempt of a sale rather than doing what's best for customers. She offered to have me finance through Toyota (ridiculous interest rate) and refinance later knowing my initial interest rate I got from someone else was much lower. Why would I want to re-finance a car? I don't plan to make payments on it for years... I truly almost considered buying from a different dealership or waiting for it to come to Texas (which they have now by the way) but since I had my credit pulled, I wanted to proceed with my original plan and not let the employees impact my reason for getting the car.
Communication again, initially was great to get all the paperwork completed. Through the final stages, I grew extremely frustrated because I spoke to at least 4 different people all saying different things and not doing their due diligence. It almost made it seem like they didn't work in the same building. The day my car was going to be shipped to Houston, I received a call from Steven saying they "OWE ME A SECOND KEY," and he apologized for that. I grew even more disappointed and asked him why this information isn't shared up front and only now that my car is being shipped. He could only apologize since he didn't realize I wasn't informed. As of now, I still don't have a second key for my car and he couldn't give me an ETA.
I did receive a follow up with Steven after I got my car, which I appreciated. It's silly though, because he asked how I liked driving the car. I had to kindly tell him I couldn't drive it because I didn't have the title or registration. During the buying process, I was not told that the title/registration would take almost 3 weeks to be sent to me. So I bought the car on 12/27/22 and couldn't drive it until February 8th due to waiting for everything. Additionally, I got a month free trial of Sirius and couldn't even use it. Now, I'll always reconsider buying a car out of state.

I just wanted to reach out to you to apologize for any inconvenience/frustration caused by the out of state transaction. It's not every day that we conduct out of state transactions and every Department of Motor Vehicle's rules are different state to state. So please accept our humble apology for the delay getting the registration to sent to you on a timely manner.
Regarding the second key, Toyota has placed a sticker on every vehicle that states, "IMPORTANT ADVISORY **TO BE REMOVED BY CUSTOMER ONLY** This vehicle is equipped with a Smart Key Entry system. Due to an unexpected supply issue, only one (1) Smart Key fob will be available and delivered with the vehicle. You will be contacted at a later date to arrange for an additional Smart Key fob at NO CHARGE." This is typically something that is discussed with the customer the day they take ownership of the vehicle and because we shipped the vehicle to you, it was overseen when communicating with you on the telephone. Again, we are terribly sorry for not informing you at the time you completed your paperwork.
We reached out to Sirius XM to explain your story and find out if we could get your complimentary trial extended, but we were told they could not do that. Once a vehicle gets registered “SOLD”, the complimentary trial begins. We were told that your complimentary Sirius XM trial is good until March 27, 2023.
Once again, we do apologize for the out of state experience you received. We sincerely appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to assist you with this purchase, I only wish the registration process could have been handled quicker. My largest discomfort by far was my experience with Damian. He was rude and made my family and me feel very uncomfortable with his tone and demeanor. First, he rudely assumed my wife had no credit (a professional making a very comfortable living). Then I asked a simple question, "once we take our car home and find an issue with the infotainment system or something else, what should we do?"
I expected a professional and customer-focused response, such as, "We'll take care of you. Bring it in, our team will look at it and ensure everything is okay." Instead, Damian gave a bleak and legalistic explanation, suggesting scenarios involving hiring a lawyer under lemon law/other options that were completely outside of my concern.
While hiring a lawyer/legal action might be necessary in a worst-case scenario, Damian's tone and approach were highly inappropriate, ending the day negatively. Will not recommend this place purely because of Damian :(Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The answer is simple and you were correct; simply address the concern(s) to our Service Team and our Toyota trained technicians will begin their process(es) to address the concern(s). There’s no need to discuss anything legal unless concerns are verified and can not be corrected after three consecutive attempts.

After looking online for a Toyota Prius Prime/Corolla Hybrid, I have to say that San Francisco Toyota beat out many local dealerships in the Bay area. My span of area was between Gilroy to SF and as far as Antioch. I would travel to get the best price because some dealerships like Capital Toyota were marking the Prius Prime 9k over the MSRP. Like seriously.
Ryan Dong from SF Toyota was very helpful and responsive to my online request for more information and texted me right away. I really appreciated how helpful he was. Ask for Ryan when on the phone or set an appointment to see him. I bought a used Toyota Prius from SF Toyota and several years later, I sold it back to them.
Somewhere in the process, they failed to file the necessary paperwork with the DMV.
Now I'm getting parking tickets from someone else who bought the car and somehow renewed it with a different plate number.
I called 6 months back to report the issue and was promised a follow-up, which never occurred.
