Studio 7 Hair Loft

I'm in looooooovee! I've been visiting this salon since November of 2021 and they truly deliver every single time.

I would like to express my greatest gratitude towards Evan for exceeding my expectations. Despite having to juggle 5 different clients at the same time, he remained super detailed with every client, continuously catering to everyone's individual needs. It's truly no surprise that he's one of the most top requested stylists at Hair Loft.

I got my hair done by Evan, by far the best experience I've had walking out of a salon satisfied. I came in thinking I wouldn't be able to achieve the color I wanted, but he made it possible! Was able to easily consulte with him prior, and he did exactly what I asked for. I will be coming here regularly now!!

I booked with Abby and she's did an amazing job! It's my first time getting my hair done with her and it helped to see all of her previous work on here. I've gotten my hair done (bleach and tone) before plenty of times so I can tell that she knew what she was doing and was efficient at it (also great that she specialized in Asian hair). When I came in, I had virgin hair and expressed that I wanted a neutral light brown hair (also showed her a reference photo from her past work). She let me pick from color swatches of browns to get the exact one I was looking for. I also expressed that since I don't get my hair done a lot, I want it to be able to grow out nicely and she did just that! She left my base as my original hair color and was able to blend it to the brown hair that I wanted. Over all took about 5.5 hours from start to finish. Just had a book with me and got snacks from Kukji to pass the time. Didn't feel long at all!

It was so easy to book an appointment with Abby and anyone here at Studio 7 Hair Loft via sending a message on Yelp. They are very responsive and was able to get me in just within a couple days. They were also very transparent with pricing so I was able to prep before coming in. Overall great experience and would book again!

Edit: I called the next day and the hairstylist was happy to help fix my perm. I'm updating this review immediately after and it might change with time, but I'm pretty happy with the result at the moment. It looks a lot better! I'm really happy my stylist was available and helpful.

I guess my new review is, if you're going to get a men's perm here, make sure you know what you're doing or at least ask questions if you don't. I was extremely upset with the original result and wasn't sure what to do. So be sure to call back if you have any problems with the perm. Overall, I'm really happy with the people who work here and I am happy with my previous haircuts.

I've been coming here to get a mens haircut for the past year or so and they always do a fine job. Recently I got a perm in Korea and I liked it, so I was looking for a place to get a perm in the bay. Since they did my haircuts fine I figured I'd try a perm here. Possibly the worst decision I've ever made.

I'm no expert in perms, this is my second ever. I showed the hairstylist a picture of what I wanted and they acted like they understood, so I trusted them. I was looking for a slightly wavy hair style and I think it was pretty clear in the picture. However, my hair is curly as all hell now and I am extremely upset. It looks nothing like the picture I showed. Maybe if I knew more about perms, I could have asked for something more specific and there wouldn't have been any issues. But I don't, and the hairstylist didn't ask me any questions to clarify and just went about ruining my hair. If my hair looked similar to the picture I wouldn't have a problem. Instead it looks nothing like what I wanted and I'm very unhappy with that.

I would add pics to compare but I hate how I look so much that I can't. Maybe I'm just writing this review because I'm upset but the fact is my hair looks absolutely nothing like the picture I showed. I feel ugly and horrible now.

I needed a haircut to thin out my hair for summer so I came here for the first time upon recommendation from a friend. I scheduled Laura via yelp (super quick response), but could've easily called in too. There's always someone in the shop who answers the phone. I was able to get an appointment with Wendy for next day.

Womens hair cut (no wash) was super affordable at $35. I told Wendy exactly what I wanted, no inspo pic, and she went straight to work. It took her 45 min because of how meticulous she was. I even got advice for what to do the month before my wedding so I know what to ask for. I love my haircut, feel such a great weight got lifted.

Will definitely be back, the parking lot is spacious and they are in a great location. I also hear lots of good things about the color service at this salon, so I will try it next time!

This is my second time coming here to get my hair dyed and they did not disappoint. Evan did my hair and he did an amazing job. Everyone there is so professional and quick with their work. The place is also so clean and organized. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this place especially if you have Asian hair or is looking for a place to dye your hair.

Evan is kind, friendly, meticulous and detail oriented. I have been going to him since 2020 and always doing my hair similar to what my inspo pics look like. He is really gentle with handling your hair, even washing and conditioning it does not hurt at all. He always styles your hair too and you will leave the salon feeling like a brand new person!

Been planning to dye my hair for a while now and saw the high reviews for this salon in daly city. I saw high reviews for all the staff but decided to opt for Abby. I sent a message through yelp and the scheduling process was very easy. I sent pictures of my current hair and the hair i wanted. Going from natural black hair to ashy balayage.

On the day of, I was seated immediately and Abby greeted my shortly after. She was honest with how my hair may not be exactly as the pictures i showed but would try her best. Since I never dyed my hair before, i just put my full trust in her. She gave me helpful info about hair care and how to maintain the upkeep. The whole process took 6 hours and costed under 400$. I loved how my hair turned out. She was being realistic with me about the silver, but still was able to get it to a color I wanted. I get a lot of compliments on my hair and how it still looks so healthy. I highly recommend going to Abby!

This was my first time coming to the salon from a recommendation by a friend. I reached out through Yelp and heard back right away. I sent a couple of pictures of what my hair looked like and what inspiration pictures you may have.

My hair stylist was Abby. They have Wi-Fi and can do work while they do your hair.

I only showed Abby pictures of what I wanted and she asked me maybe one question and then went to town with my hair! She knows what she's doing. I am completely in awe of my hair! I will 100% be back to get my hair done next time.

I was able to get some work done on my laptop before it died and then Abby offered an outlet to let me charge my phone. It was a pretty long session for me but worth all the time it took!
