Words cannot explain how much I'd loved the food here and the ambiance and the service. Just everything!

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and some well-deserved promotions at work and we couldn't have chosen a better place on a lovely Saturday brunch-filled morning.
      .
We arrived and we're escorted to the second floor which opened up to a cozy but at the same time tall ceiling Place filled with art and random exotic plants and happy customers eating delicious food.

We ordered a few appetizers which were pretty delicious, but the star of the show for me was their spend on a Nashville hot open face chicken sandwich. It was by far the most delicious chicken sandwich I'd eaten in years. The combination of a thick breaded and buttery crust holding very moist chicken was just incredible.

I honestly can't even remember what my side dish was or would it taste like even with pictures because that's how focused I was on the chicken sandwich lol

My drink was pretty good but I really enjoyed my wife's drink the most because it had hints of elderflower and some really bitter liquor. That was a great balance.

I had their take on carrot cake for dessert which was okay.. It wasn't terrible at all, but I wish the portions were a little bigger.

Overall, I cannot wait to spend another Saturday or Sunday brunch at the Love.

This place looked amazing from photos and I just had to check it out. I love that they have outdoor seating and indoor seating. And opted for outdoor seating because inside can get pretty loud and it was just a nice day so great for people as well.

There are lots of different options, but I opted to get the buttermilk fried chicken with the grits and the collard greens and the side of cornbread. The breakout star of this meal were those jalapeño grits. They were so delicious and creamy and giving me life. The collard greens were good, but they had a very interesting acquired buttery taste that some may not really like. I could eat a couple bites, but after while it was just making me question what exactly that was because it tasted creamy but it didn't look creamy. They weren't bad, they were just an acquired taste. The cornbread was good, but the chive butter was giving me weird vibes. I would more have preferred to have it dusted with salt on top of the butter or even like a sweet compost to go with it or mixed in. It wasn't bad again, but just in interesting taste.

The chicken was good and juicy for being a chicken breast and a thigh side. It was a lot of food. I also got the berry cobbler. I literally gobbled that down in one bit. That was so good if I could make one improvement to it, though I would add more cobbler because mine appear to be mostly buried. Again, not bad, but I want it more of a balance between the cobbler and the berry and the ice cream was just the right amount.

I also did get a drink, but I was not impressed with it. I got the nonalcoholic spritz, but it literally tasted just like nothing. Sometimes these non-drinks can really wow me, but this one fell really short.

Overall was a great experience with good food. Customer service was absolutely stellar. I was walking and didn't have a reservation and they immediately were able to accommodate me which was awesome.

My daughter took us to The Love for brunch to celebrate my husband's birthday. Because she made reservations, we were seated at a cozy booth by the window. Everyone was aware that it was my husband's birthday and stopped by our booth to give birthday greetings. What a nice touch.
Our cocktails were perfectly prepared and looked so pretty. We started with the blueberry scones and after one bite I was in love with the place. Don't miss out on these.
We ordered shrimp & grits, fried chicken, one large pancake and scrambled eggs, potatoes and spinach entree. Everything was very, very delicious!
They also brought over a birthday dessert of three tiny cakes and a candle. We all loved this place and will definitely keep spending money here.

Let me start by saying this place is amazing and I definitely will be returning.

I was fortunate and found a legal spot up the street from the business. We were given the option to eat inside or out and because it was such a beautiful day, we opted to eat outside.

The staff made sure they checked on all tables regularly and were helpful with meal selections. We tasted a bit of everyone's meal, and no one was left disappointed, at all. In the end, there wasn't a single crumb on anyone's plate, so we made sure to clean our plates.

The drinks were all good, not overpowering with alcohol and they had a good taste to them.

Went here for a weekend dinner. The staff was absolutely amazing- very friendly and informative. The inside is quaint and classy. The food was absolutely delicious, I would especially recommend the crème brûlée. They also gave us two lemon squares since we were celebrating a birthday!

Prices are reasonable. Will be coming back here when I'm in the Philly area!

A solid spot for brunch with delicious food and cocktails! I got the fancy brunch (basically the scrambled eggs are cooked with truffles), and my friend and I also got the hush puppies to share. The eggs were fluffy, cooked precisely to my taste, but the the truffle flavor was fairly mild. The hush puppies were so good and went well with the butter dip. My friend got the Nashville hot chicken, which was incredibly filling and delicious. I also got a special sangria cocktail, which was nice and refreshing.

This spot was incredibly busy when we arrived, but the staff were incredibly accommodating. All in all, I can definitely see why this spot was popular, and will definitely recommend for a nice brunch with friends or with a date!

Never being a fan of restaurant groups that have too many restaurants in their portfolio, I was both curious and reluctant to try one of Stephen Starr's concept restaurants. Originally conceptualized in Philly in 1995, Starr Restaurants Group has since spread its culinary tentacles to New York, Miami, DC, & Paris, also gaining a James Beard Foundation award for "Outstanding Restaurateur" in 2017

I opted for The Love because I was in the neighborhood and it's a joint venture with Aimee Olexy.

The ambiance is a bit corporate dull, but clean, well spaced and comfortable.

      Service was attentive and informative.

The Broken Arrow. Reposado Tequila Margarita, Lime, Prickly Pear Purée, Agave, Spiced Salt. Refreshing and pleasant.

Ricotta Ravioli. Sweet Corn Sauce, Tangy Poblano, Ancho Breadcrumbs & Parmesan. Their pasta's are house made and this was totally stellar. I absolutely loved loved loved (did I mention loved) every morsel of this dish.

      Worth the visit.

What a beautiful Stephen Starr restaurant located right in Rittenhouse. While everyone loves Parc on Rittenhouse Square, this place does offer a similarly interesting menu. The place was very busy for a Monday afternoon when we arrived. Slowly around 2pm the lunch rush left and we were left to a pretty desolate restaurant. The waiter was very attentive the whole time and didn't rush us out.

I ordered the Nashville hot chicken (Take Me Away) and man it was so delicious. I don't even want to think about the amount of calories in this dish but it was perfectly crispy and was coated with spice (they didn't lie about the heat). The chicken came on a nicely toasted bread with some pickles on the side. I could only eat half the dish in one sitting. They really packed two big pieces of chicken. The salad I ordered as a side was also super fresh and well done. It was a cucumber and feta salad that came with pickled onions (always a highlight on a dish) and this amazing vinaigrette you just have to try.

Went here for the first time on a Tuesday night and I was so impressed. Service was super attentive and fast. The food probably came out about 5 mins after we ordered it. The only issue was that the waitress was too attentive. It was to the point where we did feel rushed a few times, but the food made up for it. The bread is sooo good. I wasn't too fond of the chive butter, but the bread itself was so delicious. We also had the tuna crudo and beet salad as starters. They were both really good. For our entrees, we had salmon and the rigatoni & short rib. The sauce on the salmon had too much curry for me but my boyfriend really loved it. Overall super good experience with super good service!

In a word, this place is intentional with what they're providing.

The menu has something for everyone. Vegetarian, Pescatarian, omnivores... you'll be pleasantly surprised.

The menu offers an elevated twist on classics. The Cacio e Pepe is served with shrimp and scallops. The crème brûlée is lemony and perfect. And don't get me started on the carrot cake with salted pineapple icecream. Holy crap.

In my opinion, the beet salad gave main character energy. Other top players were the hush puppies with salted butter, the buffalo cauliflower, and the branzino were popular at our table.

A comforting environment, vintage style interior, great service...I can promise you will be happy here. I've also heard that brunch pops as well.
