How long is the wait for a table usually on a Saturday around 6? I have a party of 5 but I can't seem to find a reservation.
A:
Hi Nicka! Thanks for asking - it's hard to say, but typically about 45 minutes... calling ahead the day of will give you a better estimate. Thanks again for your patronage!

Is there any parking?

If you're looking for a spot in South End that brings together fantastic food, a chic vibe, and a touch of sophistication, look no further than Link & Pin. There are other locations in Huntersville and the Arboretum, but I decided to dine at the South End location.
I suggest you make a reservation via OpenTable, and parking is a breeze with validation if you park in the garage connected to the restaurant. They have a dress code, so business casual is the way to go to fit right in. The dining room is spacious, with plenty of booths and regular tables, and the noise and lighting levels are just right. Whether you're flying solo or looking to impress on a date, the bar is a beautiful setup.
Upon being seated by the friendly host, I was promptly greeted by my waiter, Elijah. This guy knows his stuff! He described the drink menu with such mouthwatering detail that I almost ordered a watermelon margarita, and I don't even drink!
The menu at Link & Pin has something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood to build your own charcuterie board, share some appetizers some of which were vegetarian, dive into a lobster bisque or salad, or explore a seafood option, they've got you covered. They also offer a variety of steaks and chops with customizable add-ons and sauces, plus large plates featuring sandwiches and chicken dishes.
After an internal debate, I settled on the lobster roll. Which has both tail and claw meat from a 1.25 lb Maine lobster! The lobster was warm and filled a perfectly toasted, buttery New England-style brioche roll. Served with a side of clarified butter for pouring or dipping, and hand-cut French fries. This was hands down the best lobster dish I've had in Charlotte, and I'm already planning my next visit.
My only critique...the fries. They were very small, almost like I got the bottom of the batch, and every fry was limp, although seasoned perfectly. If you prefer crispy fries, these might not hit the mark for you. Also, you can upgrade to truffle fries if that's more your style.
If you're craving a top-notch lobster roll (seriously, my favorite in Charlotte), make your way to Link & Pin. You won't be disappointed!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brittney B.Chicago, IL3643620Jun 30, 20241 check-in
Food was great. Ambiance was great. I'm from chicago and we love food. This restaurant is probably the best I've had in charlotte. Service was impeccable. The server Elijah was AMAZING!
We ordered the wedge salad and fried lobster tail as an appetizer. The wedge was delicious. The lobster tail was ok- too much batter for my liking. The flounder was great. Cajun pasta was delish! Chocolate cake, a MUST HAVE. Drinks were great. Overall a really great experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - William W.Cape Fear, Fayetteville, NC111912Jun 17, 2024
This is a 5 star restaurant, I loved the food, our waiter Daiquan was very professional, and well informed about everything on the menu. He was very prompt, helpful and didn't miss a beat with us, or the other tables he waiting on. My 7 cheese board was so good I stopped eating it and took some 2 hours home to my son. Who also enjoyed the well thought out selections.
Would recommend to any one in the area for a top notch meal.
Only gave them 4 stars cause the A/C was out the day we went. Should had set in the patio area where the air seemed to be very cold.
Great place highly recommend we spent about $150 for 2 people on Father's Day. That included 2 beers large bottle of sparkling water and the 5 items we tried.
Give Daiquan a raise!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 107347554Aug 6, 20241 check-in
Walked in and experienced a warm friendly greeting from Host, Manager and several waitresses. I was impressed and enjoyed the vibe in this beautiful chic restaurant. My waitress Tiana was 'above board'- perfect!! The appetizer was out in less than ten minutes and the hot mouth watering Entrees on our table in less than 20 minutes. The handsome manager is from Atlanta (Morehouse Graduate) so he knows the entertaining and great dining experience quite well. I felt I was back in the ATL the entire time! Love it and Want More of It!

The food was delicious! We orders the flounder and it was cooked perfectly well. I had the truffle fries, Brussels
Sprouts, and wedge salad. All A+. We appreciate well rounded wine menu and order our fave Chardonnay - Cakebread. For dessert we had the doughnuts ( better than any doughnut shop around town) and we also enjoyed the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake could have been more decadent and rich, but that's just my preference. Our server Ashley was so helpful and provided us with a great overview of the menu and made excellent recommendations. We shall return!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 6, 2024Updated review1 check-in
So I spent the block on this place! Two nights in a row and this place did not disappoint! The food was AMAZING! I had Elijah as my server extraordinaire tonight and OMG IT WAS JUST GREAT. I had the lobster bisque, 2 Lady Loves, the Halibut, and the Truffle Mac & Cheese... sooooo good! The ambiance was great and again the service is top notch! Kudos Elijah!

Link & Pin is honestly hit or miss. I've dined here about 5-6 times total. The last two times were subpar. Ordered the fried oysters as an appetizer and the breading overpowered the oyster. It was like playing hide and seek to find the oyster in all the breading.
Ordered the pork chop entree. The pork chop was thick and dry. The sauce at the bottom saved the dish by giving the meat more juiciness.
However, the customer service is always on point. I can't complain there. Great ambiance. Overall rate it a 3.8.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Erika, although you and your boyfriend ended up ordering off our lunch menu, we're glad your oyster po' boy was bursting with umami flavor from that kimchi aioli and bacon. If you join us for dinner next time, both you and your boyfriend should find exactly what you're craving on our extensive list of entrées. We can't wait to have you back our way and serve up something equally scrumptious.
All the best,
Nate R. of Link & PinFeb 16, 2020Previous reviewCame here for a Valentines lunch and was pleasantly surprise! Although we initially came for what we learned was there dinner menu, their lunch menu was descent also. I do wish it had more selections - my boyfriend struggled finding something he liked so he settled for the Nashville hot chicken (only reason they got 4 stars).
I got the oyster po'boy! It was phenomenal! Whoever thought to put bacon and kimchi aioli on a po'boy is simply genius! I also appreciated the ratio of oysters on the sandwich. I hate when there's more bread than meat on a sandwich.
The service was great and the restaurant is beautiful! I cannot wait to return to try their dinner menu. - Feb 18, 2024
Timely seating on a weekend reservation.
All food was good - definitely try the cauliflower appetizer!
The huevos rancheros were yummy.
They validate your parking after you're done for the garage which was a plus.
Giving a 3 because our hostess (a male, didn't catch his name) had a little bit of an attitude.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Our first time at Link & Pin did not disappoint. Date night out was perfection. Started with delicious cocktails and the tuna sushi plate. Lots of flavors to pair with the tuna and salmon between the slaw and sauces. My favorite was the mini ahi tuna tacos - the waitress nailed it when she said the flavors were incredible with each bite.
Then we both went for burgers. The House Burger and Backyard burger were both incredible. It's hard to find a place that will actually do a good rare burger these days that isn't over cooked, but they nailed it. Paired with truffle fries, it was the perfect combination.
The ambiance was lovely as well. Beautifully decorated and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Will certainly be returning again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
