This is one of the best museums I've been to! New Orleans has SUCH A RICH AND VERY LAYERED history that this is exactly the type of place that is needed to get the full history of all that had happened here. My family was visiting from Arizona and I recommended we go here. They have a VIP Experience Package that gives you a tour guide and a complimentary cocktail. You can choose from a New Orleans Hurricane, a Mint Juliep or a Voodoo Margarita. They are regularly $14 each so I recommend just getting the package. This is my second time coming and it makes all the difference with the tour guide, they give you so much information on New Orleans from start to finish!
Anytime someone is visiting that wants to submerge themselves in the city's history- we shall come here!

Is it a little touristy yes! Is it worth the price to some probably not. It doesn't have a huge amount in here.

The exhibits were NOT easy to use!

I wanted to face my height fear. It wasn't scary. I got the drink package . The voodoo drink it was wonky.

If you only care about looking out then yes it might b ok for you. Me I wanted more history in there. My favorite part was the cafe..

The view is good! It's pricey but I budgeted for it. If you are on a budget I say skip it! It's just not worth the high amount!!

Steering the boat was fun! Let's face it there is not much to do for families . By one or two days you dont know what to do..

My honest opinion you do you.. It's expensive...You make that choice.

This was a great experience! Very interactive, educational, and fun. I wish they were open at night to get a better view of the city. However, it's still a nice view in daylight.

The views are breathtakingly beautiful! The museum has so much potential but it's all touch free due to Covid and the technology just isn't user friendly. We purchased the all inclusive ticket and wish we would have purchased the lowest tier. The guided tour was a let down due to a lack of knowledge from our guide. Several things she told us we knew to be untrue and we also felt rushed. The elevator ride up and down was probably the best part of the experience. The lower (indoor) observation deck was rather warm even though they had portable air conditioner units setup. I ordered a Mint Julep at the Cafe as my complimentary beverage and it was very heavy on the bourbon which would normally be OK but I was looking for something a little more light and refreshing due to the heat. Definitely go check it out for the views but purchase the cheapest ticket available.

We are locals who enjoy being tourists in our own city. Vue did not disappoint. You enter around the side of the building (don't go through the hotel like we did at first). Once inside there is an interactive space where you can learn about New Orleans. We didn't spend much time there because I was anxious to go up top. The elevator ride was interesting because a move plays all around. The view from the top is amazing! There are stands that tell you a bit about what you are looking at. It's enclosed and comfortable. Go up one more floor and there is a little snack shop that sells some food and drinks. We were a little disappointed because the outside was closed due to lightning in the area. but better safe than sorry. We very much enjoyed our visit and plan to go back.

Explore history, culture, music, arts and authentic cuisines through the lens of Vue Orleans! What are you waiting for? Visit!!! Visit!!!! Visit!!!!

I think this place should be added to the "first stop" on every tourist's list because this is where you'll learn New Orleans facts and feel enlightened to make reservations at some of the hottest restaurants and historic spots around town. Yes! You heard it right! A stroll through two dynamic floors led to me being very intentional about how I wanted to continue my vacation in NOLA. It sparked my interest in supporting more local vendors and booking reservations at authentic Creole spots. But most importantly, it helped me to learn about NOLA outside of what history books offered.

Let me transition here by saying that the price was worth it! Think about this, after leaving the ticket booth, you walk up the beautiful steps to the entrance and you're immediately greeted by a warm staff member who then leads you down the hallway to provide you with instructions on how to use the interactive wall game. From there, you stand in front of life size holograms, all of whom, takes you through NOLA history from the lens of those who were Indigenous, enslaved, revolutionist and more. Those whose impact led to great changes in history and whose presence was significant in marking NOLA the place that we all grew to love. Yes, it's history from the lens of those who textbooks weren't eager to share and it made me have a greater appreciation.

How long did it take to walk through this floor? 1-hour! Listen! You're going to want to stay a while to watch every presentation, sit at the recipe counter to learn authentic recipes and really engage in the history of Mardi Gras.

After this amazing experience, head on over to the elevator and face the back! You heard me right, face the back and enjoy the show on your ride to the top floor.

The top floor was another 1-hour walk because I wanted to take in the views inside and outside but also explore more of the history corners.

I have to say that if it were up to me, I would have visited here every day just to relive a magical journey.

To wrap up this review, visit! Book reservations or walk up to the ticket booth, either options are accepted. And let me help anyone who might be asking "is it good for kids?" I saw that it's better for older children (see website for age) but be careful when taking them outside because the wind was packing a punch from that altitude and surely pushed me back a few times. Other than that, it's a place where families can engage or a solo traveler can spend hours learning just like I did. Don't hesitate, visit!

Great concept and tourists for learning the history, culture, and traditions of New Orleans, while taking in the sights on the 360 rooftop. Fun and interactive for all ages. Located in the same address as the Four Seasons but a completely different entrance. Staff are all so friendly, kind, and willing to answer questions and share facts.

Such a great museum experience!! EVERYONE was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating!

When taking the elevator up, DO NOT READ THE SIGN. Its honestly a normal elevator ride with a little little little movement and video playing to be more immersive. Its not scary at all -- in fact the sign scared me more than the rice itself.

Amazing views at the top and such a wealth of history throughout. I enjoyed my visit ahh fed would definitely visit again!

All around great experience (and I'm not just talking about the view)!

It's a completely immersive experience. A well curated and interactive taste of New Orleans. The amazing 360 degree view of the city is just the cherry on top.

The staff are equally impressive. Knowledgeable and very friendly.

      Highly recommend.
