Local hidden gem been going for years! You won't find a tailor more attentive to detail than Mei, the kind lady who runs this small business. Fast turnaround too. I regularly drop off items for hemming and am always pleased with the result. One time I had a bridesmaids dress with five layers of chiffon that needed to be hemmed and the corset-ish bodice had to be taken in at the waist and I also requested extra support added to the bust. Mei did it in under two hours!!!!! (Paid extra for the expedited service, of course. Worth it.)

I moved a little farther away, so I've tried a few other tailors nearer where I live. But it's not the same!! So I really make it a point to go to Mei, especially for the pieces I really care about, even if I have to travel longer. There's no one I trust more.

(* Literally a hidden gem, in that it's not the easiest to find, but easy to get to once you figure out you have to enter a building and take an elevator up.)

This was my first time getting a suit altered and my experience at Wah's Fashion was great!

While I don't have a trained eye, the work appears high in quality. Wah took my measurements to ensure I was getting the correct adjustments. The suit was ready for pickup on the agreed-upon date and the price was reasonable.

I'll be coming here again for future alternation needs!

Buying jeans that fit just right has always been tricky for me - either too long in the leg area or too wide in the waist area; despite following a brand's size chart.

I brought 3 pairs of jeans from Citizens of Humanity and Agolde to Wah's Fashion for hemming and adjusting the waist. Wah's is the only alteration studio I've been to that can hem my jeans while keeping the "distressed"/original hem.

They're the only studio I've been to that can adjust the waist and match the thread color to the jean's original thread (see photo). Depending on how quickly you need your alterations done, I've had no issue with Wah's getting my fixes done by the date I need.

Highly recommend Wah's Fashion for all your alteration/tailoring needs -- my jeans look like they were made just for me and I'm so happy with how they turned out.

PS - Wah's has worked with Steph and Ayesha Curry several times for their tailoring too :)

I have brought in three pairs of pants to be hemmed so far here, and am always impressed by the quality of the work and the value for the price! Two pairs were $48. They did a perfect job, I wear the pants almost every day and they've held up to the use.

The service is always kind, polite, and professional and the ladies who run the store are super nice :)

I took an old prom dress to Wah's to have it updated, and omg it's amazing. Wah's took my full lenth strapless dress and turned it into a lovely hi-low dress. The price was amazingly affordable for essentially a new dress. I also had a simple hem job, and it turned out great.

I definitely recommend calling before showing up. While their hours are listed, I showed up twice and no one was there. But the quality is so good that I won't go anywhere else.

So awesome, my dress turned out just the way I wanted.

I had been looking for a place in SF to get my pants tailored and stumbled upon Wah's fashions. It's a bit of a pain to find for the first time (its right next to walgreens inside of a bigger building -- don't look for a sign because there isn't one).

Came here to get two pairs of pants done, and absolutely loved the results. I went back with two more pairs of pants after, very trustworthy tailoring!

Was recommended Wah's by wedding dress alteration service. Dress not done in time, when I went in my brand new silk dress had several snags pulled and was told the dresses fabric was the reason it was cut / sewn unevenly. Even if that were to be the case, you'd expect expect an expert seamstress to 1) handle a silk garment with care 2) recognize the fabric and know how to handle.

If you have nice garments, would recommend going elsewhere unfortunately

Thanks to my bf I discovered this hidden gem in the heart of SF with two skillful tailors. He has taken countless shirts to Wah's over the years to get fixed, they did a fantastic job every time. So when I got a bridesmaids dress that was too long and too big on me I decided to give Wah's a try.

The appointment took only 10mins with some measurements, when I retuned a week later and tried it on my jaw dropped - it fitted me PERFECTLY! I couldn't be happier with their work, Wash's works magic!

Great service, great pricing and just great and sincere people.

This is my go to spot for alterations....I live in east bay but with the pricing and service, it's a no brainer. Glad this is one of the businesses that are surviving through this pandemic.

They made time for a last-minute hemming for my suit pants the night before the wedding. Amazing and friendly service. Thank you so much!
